My late husband introduced me to this neighborhood and this church. Only on the east side is there a major road other edges adjoin the school or residential houses some of which are Church related has anybody living in any of them should move or buy or rent fully aware that they are going to be part of the church. There is a nice park close to this church as well it has a huge gazebo a Cooperative owned swimming pool and I emphasize the neighborhood because the church will be with those who move around it and support it and supported make it to be. The LED sign could be updated as technology allows it to be less tacky more photographic perhaps as the never opened to my experience former Nursery now repurposed on golf-links be some sort of food establishment eschewed their electronic sign for colorful paints of static design of course.
Among the changes since decades ago for the school is the reality that it is no longer private tuition, but Charter School correct? As such it is a rare free Charter School to have a playground of any sort. There are many churches on Kolb Road and frankly the comment about glass doors I don't understand. I do think the physical campus could be very sophisticated in terms of cooling and ventilation not just having shaded parking spaces that generate electricity during the day but Embrace fully science as the Catholic faith has in the past. I can more safely attend if it was evaporative Lee cooled meaning no recirculated air and high humidity with chilled seats for those endanger of overheating. The same boxes that sell the water used for evaporative cooling can provide the cooling for the benches or seats. Large churches that meet once a week our best highly ventilated with storage Cooling that but keeps the surfaces We Touch from refusing any surplus sheet we might have to offer. As a thought experiment you can think about a floor that is textured so slipping is not possible but you're barefoot and it is wet cold but not heated by the humidifier and Air pumped to the building only for its oxygen and to remove any viruses quickly. People will not overheat in such an environment. We evolved in the water and we overheat only in the air. Recirculating air has never been about indoor air quality unless the air outside is terrible. Such a solution to make safe indoor spaces is up to us and faith can only help...
Read moreI joined OMOS after moving back to the east side of Tucson. As a young girl I attended OMOS for kindergarten. After becoming a new parishioner Monsignor Tom called and welcomed our family to the parish. In all the Catholic Churches I've ever become a parishioner in (due to moving to different parts of Tucson) I've never received a call of welcoming. The moment I stepped into the church it felt like home and has ever since. My family dynamic has changed but I continue to attend mass at OMOS feeling each and every time like I'm...

I'm so glad God guided me to this parish, I feel safe, welcomed, and at peace here. Fr. George, Monsignor Tom, Fr. Justine are all absolutely wonderful!
Everyone here at this parish is friendly, warm, and welcoming.
If you are new to the faith or returning to your faith and searching for a parish in your area to call "home", give OMOS a try. I'm...
