As soon as I went up to the menu board they did not want to take my order because they were almost closing. They told me yeah we’re only accepting cards right now. I get up to the window and get my salad and the Girl tells me yeah so I just wanna let you know for next time we close at 9….I told her I know I’m fully aware of that what’s the issue because I ordered before they even closed. She then called all of her coworkers up to the window to all start yapping nonsense at me. I literally had four girls standing at the window, running their mouth at me talking nonsense. And then this unkempt lil emo goth girl with nasty piercings all over her face can up at shut the window on me, when I was trying to explain that it’s rude to have a customer come in and spend money and then you’re going to guilt me because I ordered before closing time. It was also uncalled for. They should put as much effort as they do with arguing with paying customers into actually working. So basically they closed their drawer prior to closing and in hopes of not having to make any more orders, then they tell all the customers that are paying with cash they cannot order. IF YOU ARE OPEN TILL 9 pm be open till 9 pm. And do not then guilt me for purchasing food before you’re even closed. I’m writing this review because it is not the first time they have done this exact thing to me. Onetime I came to order and they paid the automatic sorry we’re closed. I sat there for like 3 minutes waiting I pulled up to the window and waited for an employee and I asked why did I get ignored at the speaker l. She’s like we’re closed. I told her well yeah, now you’re close when I’m here at the window but back when I tried to order at the speaker you ignored me until it was 9 pm so that I couldn’t order. It’s the lack of work ethic that they constantly show everytime I come here. I come here a lot and that is why I’m writing the review because I’m sick of it. At this point I’m sick of coming here and ordering food and feeling like I’m inconveniencing them to have to do their job. It’s only at this location as well because I go to other ones and I never have any issues. If you’re open till 9 PM, then truly be open till 9 PM that’s all I’m saying I don’t think it’s that hard to put some lettuce with some chicken and some cheese and croutons in a plastic container but they act like you’re asking too much of them cause they’re more concerned about not working. I don’t know why I continue to come here after the amount of times that they’ve acted like this. I will not spend another dollar here. The salads are good but their work ethic and customer service skills are terrible and for that reason if you’re thinking about going to this location at night after 8 pm you should not. It’s like their motto is, let’s avoid having to make as many orders...
Read moreI have mixed reviews about my visits to Salad & Go. Service is quick & staff is nice but food is inconsistent. My first visit was during the lunch rush. I was HIGHLY impressed by how fast I moved through the line and how inexpensive my lunch was. A salad WITH protein and drink was under $9. I was through the line in under 5 minutes. My salad (a Cobb with chicken & ranch dressing) was delicious and portioned just right. The Arnold Palmer was delish too, not overly sweet or bitter. Then, there's the dressing. Some places are so stingy with the salad dressing, its like you asked for a side of cash with your greens instead of ranch. Not at Salad and Go. There's enough to cover the greens, without being overly dressed. During another another visit, it was equally as quick. Employees were still friendly. I had planned to try something different, but when I got to the ordering "box" I said Cobb salad with chicken and ranch. Ha! They asked if I still wanted the Bleu cheese crumbles, and I said yes, of course! Fast forward to me eating this salad.... I was very disappointed. While the greens were fresh, there was something extremely SOUR TASTING in this salad. I didn't continue eating it for fear something was bad? And before someone suggests the Bleu cheese... let me tell you, there wasn't any Bleu cheese on this salad. Along with any bacon crumbles. The avocado was not ripe, so that was very hard. I was disappointed, to say the least. I suppose a green, hard avocado is much better than a super soft brown one, right? Overall, despite this visit, I'd still recommend Salad and Go. There's a lot to try and MANY MANY...
Read moreWe always order ahead using the user friendly app and simply drive thru or use the walk up window depending on whichever looks quicker. Since I am generally driving I get a wrap and everyone gets a salad. What's the difference? Nothing, they're both basically the same size, except for the wrap is simply that, it's wrapped in a flour tortilla and foil wrap. It's perfect for me, the driver of a vehicle, I basically get an entire salad the way I want it in a wrap and can eat on the go.
This last time through we didn't use the online app, we just went through the drive through. We were both very disappointed in our meals. First off, probably our fault, I said balsamic meaning balsamic, vinaigrette; he just got balsamic, without the vinaigrette LoL 🤣. Now I ordered the fajita wrap with chicken, I got that last time and it was great, nice huge chunks of chicken and the sauce was really thick so the wrap was easy to eat, not this time, it's like they were giving me the sloppy seconds after the lunch rush, the chicken was tiny shreds, the tortilla was soaked and dripping with some sort of liquid (by the time I realized it, it was too late and my entire front side was drenched along with my ventilated seats). Also the avocados were mush and brown, it just seemed like it was just a sloppy seconds meal for both of us. The only decent thing we received from them today was our drinks!!! We're going to now think twice for a change before ever going to...
