Nails Today #1 — Local services in Tucson

I went a little over an hour before close to get my acrylic nails off, I walked in and saw two people being helped (both over halfway done). I stood for a second and the guy tech looked up at me and said "what do you need?" I replied that I would like to get my acrylic nails taken off. He then extremely rudely said "no, not today, we don't have the time." I stood not saying anything for just a few seconds thinking of where else I could go and he got even nastier with me then saying in an extremely condescending tone; "Yeah. Seriously." I don't know what your problem is sir but your rudeness was unwarranted and disgusting. I was not rude to you for a single second I was there, how unprofessional. I know acrylic removal doesn't take more than 5-10 minutes and I could have been fit into the last hour. Even if you still couldn't fit me in, you absolutely did not need to have such a nasty and unwarranted attitude towards me. Don't come here unless you would like to be disrespected to the highest degree...

Let me start by saying, the charge for a full set was $25. I got up from my chair after the technician wounded 3 of my fingers with her lack of skill with the electric nail filer. I also hated the shape of my nails. She went into a long rant at me about how she was taking EXTRA care of my nails to avoid fungus problems. Not true. She did what EVERY tech does. I had been there going on 1 hour. She put her hands on me when I got up. I told her I was not a thief and gave her $20. She said it was not enough money. I said "Polish is $5. which I will not allow you to do. I will no longer allow you to hurt me." She demanded that I let her cut off the nails because I was not leaving with her work on my nails. I am in a wheelchair and have been treated with respect and courtesy. Each time I go in Linn has been happy to see me no matter what I'm having done at the time. I have tried several salons in my area for the last twenty-three years and find them lacking in conversation, disregard to my need to be gentle when doing my fingernails and toenails due to my disease. I am helped whenever I feel intimidated with placement of my wheelchair or transferring from wheelchair to their wonderful pedicure chairs.
