Owen Park — Attraction in Tulsa

Ooohhh, the geese and ducks! What a beautiful thing it is to see the variety here...! Just perfect and my dog just loves it... Some are actually 2x's or more his size and he's fascinated with what the heck they're doing there... A couple of them kept him in check and taught him some manners and pond etiquette... 👀🐾😂👍🏼🫶🏼 I would also like to public shame whoever is throwing garbage into the pond (soda bottles, chip bags, candy rappers, plastic sacks, fast food paper trash, etc!) This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, People!!! This is a home to fish, frogs, birds, ducks, etc!!! I will help clean what I can reach, but I ain't swimmin' for it...! Just knock it off and have some common sense and love for this beautiful, neighborhood park... This goes for the surrounding houses as well...! Thank you in advance!...

Very nice place to visit if you want to sit and just have a peaceful time watching the ducks, geese, and squarells. If you choose to feed the water foul, please do NOT feed them bread or popcorn as it's very bad and dangerous for them. Instead, feed them cooked mixed vegetables like corn,peas,green beans, and carrots. There's a muscovey duck that's lower beak is broken 3/4 off and hanging. Can't eat off ground but able to drink and eat in pond. Animal control is aware but says it's been like that for two months and they can't catch it, funny as it comes within a couple inches of your hand when you come with food. Only problem I had was pond is littered with...

This is a great park where I like to go and sit and watch the ducks. It is very clean and took care of from what I see when I go there. There is a little playground for children and places for families to come and picnic. The pond is very clean with lots of variety of ducks. The area is great. It is also walking distance from my home. I believe there is an inside gym for other activities and functions for children and adults. All in all its my favorite place to go when I just want to sit and think or take my grandaughter to watch her play...Its the only park that I go to besides...
