One year ago, I went to Inner Circle with some friends. The night had ended and bouncers were making their rounds to folks letting them know it was time to leave. One gentlemen approached our group and asked us to finish up and head towards the exit. Perfectly reasonable request, though a bit strange that he would approach "us" first. We were all black. I was ordering an Uber on my phone when suddenly I fell of the table. The same bouncer had become frustrated that I was still sitting on the table and shoved me off. I never went back. Until today, one year later, I did not intend to patronize Inner Circle, however many of my friends were there. THIS time I was walking towards the exit at closing time. A bouncer approached my girlfriend and me and physically placed himself behind me saying that he would wait for me to move. This was a form of unnecessary intimidation. Another bouncer came and attempted to verbally intimidate me. They put their hands on my back and shoved me forward. Perhaps they believed I was drinking. I wasn't. We eventually left. This was the 2nd chance I was giving Inner Circle. Their staff is rude, insensitive, and provocative to patrons of color. This is not the kind of establishment I'd like to see in Tulsa....
Read moreGreat atmosphere, great drinks. The prices are steep on their specialty infusions/mixed drinks but that is expected of a favorited hangout of the "daddy's money" crowd. The outdoor lawn is awesome, simply put. They have a DJ most weekend nights, and it feels more like a party than a bar at Easton and Main. My only beef was with a particular server, never caught his name, but he has a long, red beard. He consistently gave me hell for not tipping enough. I gave him a $5 bill for a $3 bottle of blue moon. I did this twice, then gave him $3 on the third beer i had. He sarcastically said "Wow, so generous." I said, "excuse me?" He went on to say how no one had been tipping that night and it was pissing him off. (there were 200+ people there) I told him sorry but I am not paying you $3 to open a beer and hand it to me. I spent $13 on 3 domestic beers, enough to get a 12 pack. I found this to be very unprofessional. I will be back, but Ol' Beardy will not be getting any more...
Read moreVery interesting place! I like the concept of it, they're a great features to be indoors and outdoors. Games are around so you can play cornhole, pool table, connect four, and I believe they had other things as well... The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable on their menus. Great variety of special drinks, cocktail menu, beer selection on tap and in can. Bathrooms were large and clean! The only thing I would suggest is keeping up with the seating outside, I do like the idea of patio furniture but it did seem a little impersonal and not very chic. It's kind of like you don't know if it's okay to set on, looks a little grungy. I do like the fact that they have a security guard at the front gate checking IDs! Although I still think the bartender should check IDs just to cover the butts, that did not happen. Overall I think this is a great place! It does attract a certain vibe of...
