OKPOP Museum — Attraction in Tulsa

It’s not open yet but I was here for an event. There was nothing on display. It’s a huge space with an amazing view of downtown from their rooftop patio. It’s terribly frustrating to see a prime location, a creative space, and millions of dollars of investment in downtown to be so underutilized. I’m aware they recently let go most all of their staff and are attempting to raise money to get matching funds from the state. I would hope they get what they need or at least that someone comes in and takes over the property and turns it into something the downtown residents and the City can be proud of. I only posted a photo from the roof as the balance of the facility is like not much different from an industrial warehouse space. So...

I absolutely love the concept and want to support this so badly.

Sadly your building is easily the worst eye sore downtown has been saddled with since the cyber dogdish we call the BOK center was built.

Why squander all of your money on what looks like a giant middle finger overshadowing the heart and sole of "Oklahoma Pop History" across the street from you?!

You had millions to play with to make something timeless and respectful to the state of Oklahoma and all were left with is even less places to park and something that resembles peewee's...
