We were at River West Festival Park to perform as "The Captain Ledge Band" for the Quik Trip Folds of Honor Celebration of Freedom. This is a huge event in Tulsa that happens in conjunction with the fireworks that are along the river. It is attended by thousands of people. The entire staff were great people even though they were dealing with a fairly well attended event. Bathrooms were well taken care of and despite the heat they did a great job of getting people cooled off in the 4th of July heat. The crew directing parking and traffic did an amazing job. the festival grounds themselves hold plenty of room for some of Tulsa's largest event. They are well taken care off and easily accessible. There’s also a little children’s playground with nice bathrooms that are always open. Friendly geese to feed. The amphitheater is gone but the concrete seating is still there and is just a neat, old place to hang out in. There’s also these little beach-like areas you can walk down to near the water. I come to this park to roller skate and not be around anyone. Truly the best side...
