The salon and the people were nice, but I expected my balayage with Lindy to turn out much better than the end result. My hair looked nice in the salon, but when I saw my hair in natural light the following day, I noticed that the blonde strands were not as bright as the picture I showed my stylist, and my roots were much warmer and actually looked kind of orange and brassy. I asked my stylist for suggestions that could make my blonde strands stand out, and she suggested curling it. While the blonde does stand out a bit more when my hair is curled, it still didn't look quite as bright as I wanted.

I did reach back out to my stylist to voice my concerns and send her pictures of my hair, but she respectfully disagreed and felt that my blonde strands were bright. She did say that an open air balayage does not pull as bright and suggested making an additional appointment for partial highlights if I wanted to add some brighter pieces. I have been getting my hair colored for quite some time, and my hair usually develops pretty easily.

I wish she would have told me from the start if she didn't feel that my hair would be as bright as the picture because I was under the impression that the look could be achieved in one visit.

I did speak to the manager, and she said the stylists work independently, so it was really up to her if she wanted to work with me. She mentioned that my stylist might offer to do a full highlight for the price of a partial, but I told her I was on the fence about going back at this point. This review is for my appointment with Justin on 11/17/23. I initially booked a consultation with him just to go over some details and confirm that he would be able to cut my hair in the style I wanted. Justin specializes in razor cuts, a technique I'm not super familiar with. During the consultation, however, Justin explained what a razor cut was and how the results differed from a standard hair cut. After hearing his explanation, I decided to book an appointment with him because the results of a razor cut were closer to what I wanted. I got lucky and managed to book my appointment right away due to a cancelation. Throughout the whole experience, Justin was extremely patient and thorough. I didn't feel rushed or pressured in any way. He constantly checked in with me to clarify exactly what I wanted and also explained his steps during the whole process. Justin is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable in his craft. Conversation during the cut was fun and entertaining and he answered any questions that I had.
