What a little gem we found today!!! Perfect free (& hassle free!) beach. Plenty of free parking. Nice, good sized beach. As a bonus, when we went there was only one other family there down the beach aways. The beach is sandy, but the swimming area was rocky- which my son loved because he loves searching for rocks. Personally, I may bring some water shoes and/or a floatation device next time we go. We had a lovely time. The family restroom had a changing table and was spacious and clean. They have a nice picnic area with many picnic tables and a nice amphitheatre. There's also a boat launch. As a bonus, the water skiers were practicing and we got to see some of their tricks! They put on a show at the beach a few evenings a week, I believe.

Cool park. We visited on a cooler March afternoon for a photo shoot. The park was really clean and I can tell it is very well maintained. I can't believe how clear the water was. My son would love to come back and do some shore and kayak fishing. We also saw a small otter-type animal swimming about. The park was a great place to shoot an engagement session.

Nice, small beach area. Grandstand style also to watch ski show Wednesday and Saturday nights. Check out national champion Aquanuts!. Lots of shade and grassy area to sit also. Boat launch and walking pier for boats. Lots of parking for all types of vehicles, including large trucks pulling trailers. Bathrooms with running water and a concession stand.

Visited on 6-21-25. I would say not bad for the free beach area and boat launch. It can be a little crowded so it is best to get there early to secure a nice shady spot. The problem with the shady spots is that it's all on a hill, so it might be difficult to have a picnic. I did not like the fact that the beach area is full of rocks and seaweed so you need to bring water shoes. The boat launch is too close to the beach area but very entertaining watching people struggle to launch and retrieve their boats. The bathroom was ok I would say 5 out of 10 for cleanliness. Pets are allowed. The water is not that deep and makes sun for the kids. Still 3 stars. Go...

Fun swimming area, but bring water shoes. Lots of sharp rocks. The Aquanuts show is cool and free, but the staff will yell at people for swimming in certain areas at certain times when there is no show. I had a man yell at my 3 kids, looked right at me and continued to yell at them, and not say a word to me as I walked toward him. I left immediately with my children and went to a smaller, quieter, and nicer beach in the area. The actual beach is small, and often times the small swimming area is packed and busy, so we always swim in other areas further down the beach, closer to the docks that run along the water line. It's definitely worth...
