Village View Pub — Restaurant in Twin Lakes

We stopped in on a Monday night after recently moving to the area. We have been trying new places and Village View Pub did not disappoint!

First test we ordered a tap beer which was fresh, and proper temperature COLD! and no moldy aftertaste which means they clean the lines. Beer test passed *

Next ordered a burger & fries a staple of any good bar. Delicious 1/3 LB burger and fresh cut fries with skin on them. Burger test passed * . Lastly the bartender Katie was friendly, took our order quickly and understood when my empty glass was on the rail, I needed a refill without asking, Bartender test pass *.

Would recommend for a good neighborhood bar, or a quick bite when passing through...

They have an awesome italian beef sandwich and fries for $10. I'd like to see a little more beef on the sandwich, but the taste was fabulous. I think it is one if Twin Lakes staples for bars. I went there for lunch, so I can't say anything about the night life there. I am not from Twin Lakes, but it looks like a friendly place to grab some suds and catch up with someone. The dirtiest bar I have ever been in. They have a freezer under the juke box. You literally lean over it to pick a song. Piles of boxes stacked up around the counter interfering with the already crowded pool table. I'd hate to see this owner's home. Food is terrible. Watered down drinks. Oh, and be careful not to fall in the cellar girls (where they keep the beer) on you way to the...
