If I could give them zero stars I would. Every time I get my furniture from them everything is fine when I’m picking out the furniture, everything is fine with the prices, But whenever it’s time to deliver my things it’s always a complete disaster. The first couple of times I just thought it was bad luck, I get it things happen. But this Friday my daughters bed was dropped off and I was told someone else would come to put it together because I had paid for assembly. The bed was dropped off at 5:30 PM I called every hour and I was told or should I say lied to over and over that he was on his way. At 7:30 I was getting worried because it was so late and I was told that he would work and come out as late as 9 PM. This made me very uncomfortable and dissatisfied because I get up at 3 o’clock in the morning for work. No one came on Friday and I didn’t realize they were closed on Saturdays. On Sunday when I finally got a hold with someone they apologized over and over again and told me that someone will be at my house on Monday because they were off on the weekends. Monday came and I was told that the two men that they have to put the furniture together both had called out, this is what the man named Will told me. So today is Tuesday and I’ve been told yet again they don’t have anyone to come put my bed together for me. The owner said they don’t have two men they only have the one guy. My biggest problem is I feel that when it comes to the delivery times they always lie. I’m not a very rich person I work hard for my money so it’s very aggravating when I have to leave work early or call off to be home for the assembly man, only to find out he’s not coming. This is the third time I’ve had an issue with them when it comes to delivering the merchandise I pay for, and them lying about when I’m actually supposed to get the delivery. Read moreMy wife and I had a terrible experience last year and I was done with them and an even worse experience this year. Delivery was horrible!!! I wish that I could say that the time window was s large gap....but delivery last year took days beyond the promise date. My daughter was sleeping on the floor in our new house at the time so I put her bed and dresser together as well as my wife and I bed together so that we could have something to sleep on....as well as our sofa.
I WAS DONE with VIP. I told my wife not to deal with them again.........
But because of her 30 dollar credit left after finance.... We went back for something small..... The wife decided to do more major business with VIP again, so we did.
Some how a 100 dollar down payment transaction on my debit card turned into A 602 dollar transaction. Wiped out my account completely.
Okay, even still I gave the merchant the benefit of the doubt....human error. They said that they reversed the charges back to the card and THAT IT would be back immediately.
I called the bank to find out that they didn't see where it was reversed just that there was a 602 transaction at the VIP FURNITURE store.
Long story short....... Still no refund from VIP store. AFTER merchant called a week later and said that he mysteriously found the money in their account and that it would be refunded IMMEDIATELY.
Still no refund from VIP a month later!!!
The bank very patiently explained everything to us from start finish and come to find out, they are ignoring the banks phone calls and the bank comes up short also and that's the end of the story with no repercussions to VIP and VIP knows this......
So BEWARE of the oooops, I accidentally overcharged your card for an extra large amount we will reverse it immediately scam.

I bought a Matress from his Upper Darby store about an week ago. Since my wife is pregnant and I am a heavy guy, I was looking for very firm Matress. I liked one mattress which seemed pretty firm. Franky was there,he said it has innercoil and foam and it’s the best firm Matress he had at that time in his store. He also said the Matress has 10 years of warranty and I can even return it within in the first 7 days. Therefore, I purchased the Matress for $500.
But after using the Matress for 2/3 days, the Matress is started to lose its firmness significantly. We could only imagine how soft the mattress can be within couple of months.
So, I called the store and spoke to Franky. I was just trying to explain the experience we are having but he was so loud and rude over the phone that I can’t even properly explain anything. He said “I CAN’T DO ANYTHING, I CANT EVEN PROVIDE THE 10 YEARS WARRANTY BECAUSE THERE IS NO DAMAGE. FORGET ABOUT THE RETURN. YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW ONE.”
I work hard to make my living for my family. And this man just ripped off $500 out of my pocket. Now I might have to buy a new Matress for this unethical businessman.
