One of the important pieces of land that shaped this great country's formative years. Visit the Visitor Center At Valley Forge first to see a 15 minutes short movie about the creation and the conditions of this camp. What the soldiers and people went through in that time period and the incredible sacrifice they made for the creation of the USA are preserved throughout the park. A must visit place as this is known as the birthplace of the modern U.S. army!

Well maintained, lots of trails, you can walk, horse-ride, rent a bike, go by the car around. There is also a short story time narrated for free near the...

I try to get out the Valley Forge national Park at least three or 3 or 4 times during the summer, what a beautiful day to walk the trails and see the sites. I love the history behind us. They have a 5 mile loop in an 8 mile loop they also have trails through the woods and also through the field. This is an absolutely beautiful park. I like watching it through the seasons there’s also an excellent visitor centerwith light snacks, artifacts and some souvenirs. They also have bathroom...

Fantastic park one of my favorite places to walk around and just take in the history. If you are going for the first time the park is massive and I would recommend driving through once to see where all of the parking areas are. You can stop at all of them and get out and walk around to explore all the areas the park has to offer. For a more intense hike you can park by the bridge and hike up...

My family and I loved exploring Valley Forge National Park for hours. If you love American history you’ll love driving, biking, and walking through history. My children loved the encampment cabins, the redoubt equipped with canons and fortifications, and especially the memorial arch and George Washington’s headquarters. 10/10 It’s also very dog friendly!
