On two separate occasions a group of coworkers and myself who worked at Pennhurst Asylum had visited Bury the Hatchet located in King of Prussia and had an excellent experience with their instructor Jammie. His energy was very easy going and made it easy to feel at home, despite the fact that it was something I had never done before. He explained the safety precautions for handling, throwing and, retrieving of all bladed equipment including long and short handle axes, knives, tomahawks, and a spear for the finale, with clear detail; and demonstrating the technique to each individual in our group attentively, making sure we had all been successful in consistently being able to hit our target and get a volley going. Inside the building was bigger than I had expected, but nonetheless a well maintained and beautiful establishment I would personally give my business to with my family and friends time and again. I had an amazing time at this Bury The Hatchet location! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable even though we were total beginners. The space was clean, well-organized, and had a great atmosphere with music, snacks, and a rustic vibe that fit the experience perfectly.

Our instructor was super friendly and patient, showing us the ropes and giving tips throughout the session. It didn’t take long before we were sticking axes like pros!
