Amazing Escape Room King of Prussia — Attraction in Upper Merion Township

Chi Chi was a great game master, very personable and funny. She did a great job getting us excited for the room. The reason I give 3 stars is strictly because of the rooms themselves. We did both the Illusionist and the Submarine room and escaped both. They are pretty decent visually, and you can tell there was effort put in to how immersive they wanted to try and make them.

Our group of 4 people have done 40-50 rooms in the surrounding area and we get out in around 35-40 minutes or less on average. The puzzles are where they lost us here. Some of them were good, but most of them are not great or they just don't make a lot of sense/were not clear. There were many puzzles that we got right, but the physical puzzle was not very well marked or built, so the game master had to step in a few times to fix it. For those who like rooms that are not at all linear, or if you have a larger group, you may enjoy these rooms more than we did. We unfortunately left the rooms agreeing that they were our least favorite of any we have done.

That being said, the people working here are great, don't let our review steer you away from giving them a shot. This is more feedback for the owners to maybe give some thought into the puzzles, the fluidity of the rooms, and maybe look at other...

Amazing experience the last few times I went. However this time when I called them up around 8:00 pm, asking if they have any rooms available, the employee who picked up the phone sounded like I woke him up from his nap, he was pretty sarcastic the whole time. Then he demanded to take my credit card information right away. He claimed that that was the only way to do it (I don’t doubt him, it probably is protocol) but I mean it was 8:00 pm on a Tuesday night and he literally said himself no one was there. He wasn’t willing to make an exception where we pay when we get there (I had a friend with me and we were going to pay both ways) when we weren’t even a mile away.
