My husband had to go to a conference there so I tagged along for the ride. He wanted me to go and hang out at the convention center/casino since he was going to be busy. Our check in was at 5 pm but they let us check in early, which was great. The hotel mgr was very helpful and so were the other staff members. I asked her if there was a gift shop, spa, room service, and the restaurants inside open since on the website it shows them as open and available? And as I suspected NOPE! She did explained why. Due to COVID, these weren't available any longer. Only the Dunkin'Donuts, pizza and the casino plus the bar were open. As for me, I am not a crazy coffee ☕ drinker, eat pizza🍕 too much or do alcohol🍸🍹🍷but, I do ❤️ doughnuts!!!🍩 🥰😍 And if u need anything that you might of forgotten to pack, there's a vending machine with some OTC products. No allergy medicine available unfortunately. But, if you need matches, they give it to you at the front desk..huh? 🤔🤨 Yeah, that's what I said. So, I found myself staying in our room 😁👍and for the first time ever while I'm out on a little vacay,I got to chill out and rest my body from sight seeing days prior and needed some resting time. The conference went well at least. Everything was very well organized and equipped for the conference. At the end, my advice is, make sure you have everything you need. If you want to eat REAL food, not doughnuts, you're going to have to leave the hotel. But, if you need your coffee ☕, don't worry, it's open til 3am. As a hotel/ convention center, it was fine. No issues with our room. Everything was nice and neat. To be honest, the bathroom was smaller than expected. Two people don't fit inside. That's the only issue we had. There's a counter outside the bathroom. I suggest making it smaller and extend the bathroom so, it's not too tight inside if you and anyone else wants to use the shower or the toilet at the same time.(NOT SHOWN) Otherwise, the staff is nice and everything went well for us. Plenty of...
Read moreCaught a show at the onsite comedy club stress factory. Parking spaces were available nearby and the steps to the venue are just inside the stardust tower main entrance. Venue was clean, staff was attentive, friendly and competent. Stage visibility was good but the audio was difficult to understand due to poor speaker placement and excessive room echo. We were seated stage right, so center may be the sweeter spot. There is a menu of standard grill fare, but we just had drinks and soda, which were typically priced. The real shortage of the stress factory is the lack of web integration. The website focuses on the nk venue and locating information about the valley forge site is minimal. There is no mention of the available menu and no location or site views except the general street address. Luckily the stardust info desk is very helpful since the external signage is non existent and inside is minimal. Had a great time and will go again. As they say life is full of mystery and getting there...
Read moreI have been to many casinos..and this one is definitely the worse. Super tight slots..customer service in all areas is abysmal. Absolutely the dirtiest..atmosphere is not conducive to having a good time..and they have 3 apps. Stardust Social Casino, Stardust Online Casino, and Boyd's Rewards..all 3 apps are rudimentary..boring, and slots are even tighter than the VF slots....and the Stardust Social is not real money..and it still gives no benefit to plating because it does not offer any benefit such as rewards or bonuses to playing VF or Stardust Online.. and even worse there is no incentives, such Rewards, bonuses, or free play online or at VF.. and the only incentive is matching first deposits bonuses that the is at insane wagering requirement of 20x play through and the bonus expires in 2 weeks which is a joke...I keep popping in hoping that just one of these areas that I am thoroughly disappointed in improves..but no luck yet. Will keep you...
