I would not recommend spending your hard earned money with LB. This is my opinion from my wife and I’s experience buying a watch and then in turn selling/consigning it back after my wife ended up not liking the watch. We inquired for sourcing an AP for my wife to buy as an achievement, specifically for her birthday. Just after the new year of 2022. Ana discussed with us the process. We were inquiring a few months before her birthday as we did not know if these prices would continue to go up, and watches become harder to get, we felt a bit pressured by Ana to buy as soon as possible. We purchased it for $35,000. (to my knowledge now, the peak of market) We received the watch, but my wife ended up not wearing it, as she wanted to wait for her birthday in April. April came 2 months later, she decided she did not like it, we were past our return window. In this case, we obviously did not want the watch, Ana suggested she would buy it back for $24,000 (I don’t think the market adjusted 32% in 2 months) or she can consign it for close to price and not take a feee, as we wanted to maximize getting back our money we paid. Boy was this a nightmare process. Ana was near impossible to get ahold of, no communication updating us that we need to adjust the price, nothing. Our watch took over 9 months to sell on consignment. I even asked to send it back, which she then magically said she has someone interested. Obviously that did not pan out. I didn’t want the watch back, but was willing to send it to a different dealer that wanted to actually help. I did not want to trade to other watches they had in stock, but I inquired about a few options - couldn’t even get Ana to reply. I suggested we drop the price again, after weeks of trying to get ahold of them, we did, no movement, no updates, nothing. Even though all other websites point to the higher pricing, at this point we just wanted partial money back. We felt they did not care to sell it as she was doing us a favor by not charging us a fee, this is why it was taking so long. Over 9 months go by with this not selling and magically one day Ana has a client again from one of the sales guy, he was talking with offering us a low ball offer and finally sold ….. after 9 months… for a huge loss in 2023. This watch was never worn by my wife and still had stickers. I would not wish this experience on anyone. I know they can’t control the market. But I do believe we overpaid to start. There was absolutely no care in the world to try to help us get out of this watch. Absolutely no communication. This is a customer service business at the end of the day. I think they have gone dull dealing with such high priced items, this was not big enough deal for them to care about. They need to consider they sells wants not needs. Given the high-end nature of the watches they offer, I expected a top-tier customer service experience. Unfortunately, Kevin's service fell drastically short of these expectations.
From the outset, Kevin's phone etiquette was unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of a warm greeting, his tone was curt and indifferent, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. Throughout the call, his lack of enthusiasm and genuine interest in helping me find the right product was glaringly obvious.
As I inquired about various high-end watches, Kevin's knowledge seemed alarmingly limited. He struggled to answer even basic questions about the products, often giving vague or incorrect information. His lack of expertise was particularly frustrating, as I relied on this consultation to make an informed decision about a significant purchase.
Moreover, Kevin's impatience and condescending attitude made the entire interaction unpleasant. He frequently interrupted me and seemed annoyed by my questions. At one point, when I asked for more details about a specific watch, he sighed audibly, which was both unprofessional and disrespectful.
The final straw was Kevin's mishandling of the transaction process. After I reluctantly decided to proceed with a purchase despite his poor service, he failed to process the payment correctly. This resulted in significant delays and added stress to an already frustrating experience. His lack of competence in handling such a basic aspect of his job was unacceptable.
Overall, my experience with Kevin at Luxury Bazaar was extremely disappointing. His unprofessional behavior, lack of product knowledge, and dismissive attitude were entirely unacceptable, especially from a company that prides itself on luxury and high-quality service. I strongly urge Luxury Bazaar to address these issues and provide better training for their staff to prevent other customers from enduring such a negative experience.
