Vacaville Ice Sports — Attraction in Vacaville

ok so everyweek or somtimes everyother week i feel like going iceskating with my girlfriend. for like a YEAR now everytime i call which is usually a sunday to get my skates sharpened they tell me theres no one there that can sharpin them....lol this as been going on for months now....lol i STILL havent been able to go skating becasue i cant get my skates sharpined....so this time i called on a saturaday thinking maybe if i call on a saturday i might get a diff result....BUT NO i was wrong i called today to see if somone could sharpin my skates and of course they lady tells me that the guy is not there....of course hes not there i mean its only an ice rink makes NO SENSE to have someone there that can sharpin skates right??...so maybe ill try again next week.......just to rap this up this place as the WORST mangment of any ice rink that i have have set foot in.......i mean come on now almost a year now that ive been callin on random days to see if someone can sharpin my skates and for a YEAR not one time as someone been there to sharpin them?? i mean come on thats just out of control.....who ever is running that place...

After a fun summer skate, we thought we'd do the Winter Wonderland skate, but we were disappointed with our recent experience. $20 to skate PLUS during the Wonderland time they charge you an extra $8/walker PLUS collateral like your keys so you don't take the walkers home (but this policy is only during this time of year, not other skate times of the year). The line to rent the walkers is long and time consuming and cuts into the skate rental time quite a bit. The walkers sell out completely and quickly so new skaters have to go without. And because people have to buy the walkers, they hoard them even when they're no longer needed. I saw customers yelling at the employees for this unfair policy and felt really bad for the employees. Please review this policy as it feels very greedy and puts more stress on the employees trying to implement it. Our summer experience was much more fun so it's a real shame that greed took over for the Christmas season and created more stress for customers...

Standard ice rink. I live in sac but we don't have an ice rink so I had to travel over an hour in traffic. They have limited times for skating so that made it stressful to make it in time. We paid 35 dollars for the two of us. The ice rink was choppy, everyone's skates engraved the ice so it was difficult to skate especially for my partner who is new to skating. It didn't help that several kids/teens were scuffing the ice on purpose to make snowballs. They were told off a few times, however they still managed to wreak havoc on the other skaters. Getting in people's way, almost tripping several people. I could tell most of these kids were avid skaters so it was upsetting that they weren't acting better. The whole experience for how expensive it was, I guess I was expecting more of a stellar experience.

Had the ice been smooth, and the tweens made to leave the ice for awhile so others could enjoy it, that would have made...
