It's Extra Large in size and Extra Large in Amenities. Is the Resort of Bay Indies for everyone? No. It is not. However, it is for 2500+ people who love it. 2500+ People enjoying Life. And, for good reason. They have a wide array of amenities and activities to enjoy every day and they live in a community, where upon entering, one can't help but notice, how lush and well maintained it is. Not to mention, it's Pet Friendly. And, homeowners who do not occupy their Resort home full time, are welcome to Rent their home. Before judging the Resort of Bay Indies by reviews and lot rent, visit the Resort Community yourself. View some homes. You'll learn not all 55+ communities are created equal. Not all Manufactured and Mobile Homes are the same. And, I suggest doing some research and compare other 55+ Communities in Venice and Sarasota. You will find Venice and Sarasota are filled with Housing options and alternatives. While comparing, be sure and view Condominiums and Villa Communities too. And, their parking. Pay close attention to the Fees. Be sure and read the fine print for maintenance inclusions and non inclusions for each. Read their Amenities list. And, of course, pay attention to the address. You may also want to educate yourself on the cost of renting a home in Venice and Sarasota. View the square feet of the home. Does the rental include a garage? Or, parking? Does it have a pool? Does it include laundry? Is the landlord local? Or, is it managed by a company far far away? After researching, you can decide, is Renting a home for you? That place is horrible to live in .you get harassed for everything and trust me there a lot of trashy places in there that never gets addressed one weed ,park in your neighbors driveway you will get told to move your vehicle instead of calling the owner of the home your parking in they say they have to follow up on written complaint but refuse to tell the owner who wrote it .they only pick on who’s the quiet ones who don’t have a lot of company always with a bunch of kids running up and down your street ,playing flutes ,there dogs are on leads and damn near get hit chasing cars ,,nothing gets done to them ,if you have a couple of weeds complaints however other neighbors have jungles in there yard for fruit rats to hang out ,,over it ,no way would I ever cider that place in 5 Yrs lot rent went from $690 -and in 2022 it’s almost $1200 a month not to mention 5 Yrs ago cable and internet was free, and within 6mo we all get disconnected so we had to buy it from xyfinity and when they installed they said the park owed the, over half million dollars for not paying bill ..my question is where is the lot rent money going ..it’s a pretty place but trust me broken equipment all the time, and your run out of whirlpool at 9pm the guy darn near gives you a heart attack being very rude standing there till you leave ,,5 years ago they never locked anything and kicked you out ,beware buyers before...

My sister and I live in this community we are both disabled and have a limited income. We are finally getting our home repaired it took almost 3yrs for FEMA to help us I appealed them many times. I guess they got tired of my appeals. We are getting repairs done a little at a time. They are putting people out for not getting their homes repaired. My sister and I fill that (Bay Indie’s) is targeting us they keep putting notes on our door this and this needs repaired.. If they put us out we have nowhere to go.
