Always one of my favorite beaches! The daytime view of the water isn’t generally super crowded despite the boardwalk being a great place to walk as it’s a 1/4 mile (& marked). They have done a great job of repairing the beaches & boardwalk since Ian & Nicole caused some damage. I love going at night and sitting on the cut offs of the boardwalk. I do wish they had more as they tend to fill up quickly on nights like the full moon or a space launch but I understand why it doesn’t. We meet a lot of fun and interesting people on our visits, have had several conversations about dogs, space launches, photography, stars, and more with our fellow beach goers. I generally see a more adult crowd, rarely younger kids (babies-toddlers) with the exception of school aged kids coming out with parents. I think this is mostly due to the amount of stairs on the majority of the boardwalk. The north (far left) side of the boardwalk is a ramp but (to my knowledge) that’s the only ramp access to the beach, the rest are several stairs high, which may not be fun for families of young kids who generally need more help carrying things than school aged kids. Regardless, this is a wonderful beach with amazing views, is well kept, attracts a relatively friendly crowd, is rarely crowded (unless you’re walking in the mornings, then it can be very crowded, or going during...

Oh!!!!... I'M IN HEAVEN!... I ended up here at Vero Beach, FL. for the 4th of July weekend unintentionally. Last week I was as always talking to myself(many truck drivers do this due to loneliness) and I was kinda having a prayer/conversation with the high one(GOD) and I was saying, "it's been quite a while I've taken some serious time off, you know like 3 days off, off to rest, swim be in contact with that ocean water, revitalize my soul and my spirit... AHHHHH. Anyway. Here I'm... A vista to the ocean on the portside of my truck and front(how much would that would it cost me at a hotel in this area? 😳🤔😉) the water is one minute walking distance! The parking is free!!!! HALLELUJAH!!! 😂🤣😂🙏YES! I got a huge pack of jumbo shrimp and 2 pack T-bones from Sam's club, veggies and mashed potatoes, also a cantaloupe melon, crab stuffed salmon filets (2) plenty of Perrier water, ect... HEAVEN🤗 I'M HAVING A BLAST... MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA(HAVE A HAPPY 4TH,...

A large park with several shelter houses and even a cafe with seating inside and out near the beach. The breakfast seems to be the big draw-- I always see lots of people eating outside during the high season at Vero Beach, Florida. A nice little quarter-mile boardwalk with benches, etc., provides visitors and locals an area to walk and look at the ocean without getting sand all over you. Part of this beach is patrolled by lifeguards, and an ADA proved access ramp. The beach wheelchair is usually available at the nearby lifeguard stand. A rather negative part is that the steps leaving down to the sand in several places along the little boardwalk are quite steep. It's pretty difficult to navigate the wooden steps and carry beach chairs, umbrella, and everything else that we drag to the beach. 😁. I think some of those steps have been rebuilt lately after two crushing hurricanes last year destroyed much of the road and boards used for the...

LilBearAdventures.com ~ Please like our reviews! ^* This park is wheelchair accessible for getting to and from larking area to play area but not wheelchair accessible for children to play. Lots of shaded pavilions and benches. There are trash cans everywhere and grills available for picnicking too. We loved this place because our little tot is small and sometimes it is nice to not have to always be worried she will fall off any bigger play area equipment. That being said, this park is definitely not as enjoyable for the older crew. The one great aspect about this playground, other than its close proximity to the beach is that it has a canopy unlike Humiston's beach park.

This is our favorite little park and beach. Bring a meal, pizza or cookout on the available grills. Don't forget charcoal. Great boardwalk for walking enthusiasts. 4 lengths equals 1.5 miles. Bring beach chairs and drop near edge of the ocean. Not a wide beach, which is why we like it. Don't have to walk 1/4 to get to waters edge. Packed in weekends. Very Light crowds on weekdays. After a few years of closure the ocean front Cafe has reopened. Wonderful little place. Can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open 7am - 10 pm. Family operated.
