This has been an interesting year. With remote learning and no face to face, my organization was struggling to find a way to make money. I saw a brochure from Indian River Fruit, and contacted them. From the first conversation, they were helpful and very positive. Brad was an amazing support. We were able to run the fruit sales, and have the fruit delivered to customers homes without any type of contact. This was extremely important as the new regulations from the corona virus were in full force. We did not have to take money, everything was taken care of online. We have been sponsoring a fruit sale for over 30 years but due to some issues with our previous supplier this was our first year using Indian River Groves and the experience went really well. From the first contact to set up our sale, they did everything they could to accommodate our buyers and what they were used to purchasing from us. We have always had our products come in the Sunday before Thanksgiving and this year was no exception. The driver was friendly and on time and the delivery went smoothly. We are hoping this will become a lasting relationship.

Year 2 and what a year. With Covid we were unable to sell as usual so we held an on line only sale. It went okay not because of Florida Indian River but just the sales in general. The support from Indian River was great and they made the process really simple. It was just we didn't see our students so sales were minimal but we still received a small profit check. Hopefully next sale will be better and we can offer both options. People actually liked having their fruit shipped directly to them and said the fruit...
