I order from their deli consistently because it’s so close in distance to where I’m working & EVERY TIME, WITHOUT failure, THEY MESS UP MY ORDER! I order their bowl, EVERY TIME. I pay $7.75 for an extra serving of protein & they never give it. I order peppers/onions (they put it on raw… RED ONIONS TOO) Today, I ordered my bowl & ordered extra protein. I brought it to the deli attendants attentions to please not forget (it’s very expensive) & they gave me WHITE RICE when I PAID for seasoned rice, they DRENCHED my bowl in sauce and gave me RAW peppers/onions again. It costs $28 for this bowl with extra protein and it is not worth it! I’ve spent $125.00 on bowls before I wrote this review. The deli staff are PETTY, UNPROFESSIONAL & lack any basic education or educational training. You would think someone who makes $17-$18 an hr working in a deli would be more considerate of the costs of their customers. It is a shame and I hope everyone saves their money by eating elsewhere! Love this place! Friendly, helpful service. Carping about price ignores the fact that great variety on a small footprint in upscale real estate raises costs. But the quality is worth the premium. Great wine and beer choices. Fine produce, dairy and cheeses. Fresh meats and fish, plus a great deli with standing and rotating specials, most made on premises. Fried chicken, amazing broccoli salad, crustless quiche, grilled lobster tails, crab cakes, soups, prepared meals and much more. This is a family store, and the buying is selective, so everything is a notch above. For example, the spices are Morton & Bassett, and the cold cuts are Boar's Head. Wow....$31.00 for 2 sandwiches which by the way were gross!! Claims to be on kaiser roll, ya right. It was a potato roll stale by the way. Pastrami and corned beef was very dry the Swiss cheese was old it was hard around the edges. My husband's Italian sub was awful. 3 pieces of meat old olives 3 pieces of onion. Despicable!!! The kids yes I said kids at the register were too busy complaining about the manager and having to work on a Saturday. First time in this store and trust me it will be the last time.
