Vero Beach Theatre Guild — Attraction in Vero Beach

Verily, this guild doth boast the whimsical airs of a bygone age, long since dead and departed, yet their games of improvisation could bear a measure of improvement. My dress rehearsal, alas, was unfounded, for the dame who didst play the game hath bested me before the assembled crowd. This theater guild, with prowess unmatched, doth contend mightily to keep thee from thy seat. Not merely is their theater gilded, but the very path leading thither is paved with gold—aye, platinum gold, and upon the weekends they do drag race as though it were sport.

Though not as wondrous as Jules Berg, still they are fools to none. This guild hath an essence that smacks of my father’s favored delights—trust me, for he is elder to me, a military veteran who doth seldom play at theatrical songs. And I, bereft of kin, speak true to thee, unencumbered by falsehood. Attend this place if thou dost seek a chuckle, a hearty laugh, or a tearful cry, as the masks of Thalia and Melpomene foretell. Great local theater with a wonderful spirit and sense of pride that is second to none. This is not Broadway or even off Broadway so don't expect that type of a evening limited selection on wine and beers no hard liquor. We saw the production of One flew over the cuckoo's nest and enjoyed it it was energetic well done and while the music was a little loud at times the technical production was crisp and fairly elaborate.

This is the type of quality entertainment that should be supported by the locals. Somehow they survived through covid, my guess is on a wing and a prayer.

Just seen Footloose and what a wonderful performance. Great performance and acting/signing. The theather is great for any show as it is small and any seat has a great view. THe floor's elavation is pitched nicely for clear view of the stage. They removed a row of seats for social distancing and the makes for nice wide rows. You can stretch your legs out and no heads blocking your view in front. The best seating around to see a show. The staff is freindly and helpful. Nice array of snacks/drinks available before and at intermission with a 50/50 raffle. I will be coming back and recommend the...
