Parking is available all around the perimeter of Pocahontas Park, but the main parking area is conveniently located at the north entrance where restroom facilities are located adjacent to the children's play area. Kids enjoy this elaborate play area, which is coated with a rubber surface for the prevention of potential injury, and which is equipped with swings, a slide, and other structures on which kids can play and have fun, while parents relax in comfortable view of their kids on bench-seats that are provided. Also, tennis and pickleball courts are available during park hours in a screened-in atmosphere for privacy and personal enjoyment. Read moreIts nice that it's fenced in. But that is all it has going for it. However a fence doesn't matter if the gates are broken. The area is always unkept as far as trash and branches every were. There is a serious bug problem in theoak trees inside the park. The playground its self is starting to fall apart. Not to mention the groups of homeless men that sit inside the fenced area smoking cigarettes. What ever you do, don't let your women go in the bathrooms! Guys hide out in there waiting!
