The Goddard School of Verona — Attraction in Verona

We transitioned from a really negative previous daycare experience and since coming to Goddard have found so much peace and belonging. We came in anxious and hesitant and school leaders and teachers have put us so at ease and made us realize what a positive, healthy, supportive environment school can be for our 18 month old. We’re welcomed by name every time we come in the building and made to feel seen and valued as parents. There are events and opportunities to engage with other families and build a community, because let’s be honest, we all need deeper support systems. Our daughter’s teachers are SO warm, capable, thoughtful, and communicative which was my biggest concern coming in. Daily reports are thorough and keep us looped in on the learning and curriculum that’s happening. Photos and notes (attached some samples in this review) give us so much info about how she’s doing each day and all the fun she’s having (which eases some of the working mom guilt too). And the most important thing for me was feeling an overall positive culture and that school directors and leaders really support their staff. I believe when teachers feel valued and cared for, that means every class and child will receive better care and opportunities. It is so evident that’s a priority at our school. You can just TELL the staff love working there. Many have been there for years and that sort of retention just isn’t common in early childhood education. I cannot speak highly enough of The Goddard School of Verona! From the moment we enrolled our son, the experience has been exceptional. The quality of education surpassed all our expectations. The curriculum is engaging, well-rounded, and perfectly tailored to nurture children's development at every stage.

What truly sets The Goddard School apart is their outstanding staff. The teachers, administrators, and owners are not only professional but incredibly caring and attentive. They made us feel welcome from day one, and their proactive approach to feedback impressed us immensely. They genuinely care about each child's growth and well-being.

Speaking of growth, we've witnessed our son flourish in ways we hadn't imagined possible. The variety of activities and learning opportunities provided have contributed immensely to his development. It's truly heartwarming to see him learn, play, and interact with such enthusiasm.

Overall, our experience has been nothing short of amazing. We are deeply grateful to the dedicated teachers and staff who have played a pivotal role in our son's early years. The only minor downside we've encountered is the cost of class pictures, but that's a small detail in an otherwise outstanding experience.

The Goddard School in Verona is truly an amazing school. There is so much love and pride that starts with the owners and is reflected among the various staff. Everyone has been amazing to work with. We have experienced other daycare facilities in the greater Madison area and so far nothing has compared to Goddard. I have yet to meet a teacher here who has not been outstanding. Their love for their job and the kids they work with speaks volumes and really helps make this school so amazing.

The building itself is fresh, bright, and pristine. Everyone takes immaculate care of the facility and work to keep things very sanitary and clean (taking extra measures to clean/disinfect especially as of late to keep our kids and in turn their staff as healthy as possible). The curriculum incorporates lots of great things such as yoga, technology, an outdoor learning space that will be opening soon, traditional guided learning, and of course lots of play :) My child has learned so many things here! Their favorites so far? Math and chess!!

Another part I enjoy about Goddard is their focus on families. They have activities where they invite families in when they can for special events. The school and staff feel like an extension of family. I am confident my child is well taken care of and is learning and growing so well thanks to the staff here.
