Visit Vicksburg — Attraction in Vicksburg

We came by too late I guess. We didn’t learn of the passport program until we had begun our history tour and had only 2 of our visits stamped

We went to 6 of the sites listed in the passport. We went by the visitor center and explained why we didn’t have all stamped. The lady was quite impersonal and stated we needed 5 stamps period. The lady working at the front at the visitor center across from the National military park by the I-20 highway was rude and had an ugly tone like she didn’t enjoy her job. The Visit Vicksburg tourist information center on Clay Street is great. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. There is also a great passport program which is free. They gave us a small book with a list of participating museums. We visited and had them stamp the book. We returned the books to Visit Vicksburg, with five stamps in each and got two...
