VERY nice lake. Quiet, small and surrounded by lillypads. The only issue I really had was that the public boat launch is obviously not maintained. Goose feces ALL over the dock.(most appeared to have been there for some time). I didn't look at the fishing pier, but from my boat it seemed pretty busy. Steiger lake is our favorite lake for the past 20 years. When my wife and I were newly married 23 years ago we started fishing there.. At that time it had become a catch and release the lake.
