TLDR: Manager doesn't wash hands or change gloves, touched food and then charged us more when asking for a refund while delivering the worst possible customer service in the world.
Where to begin... yesterday my Fiance and I stopped at the local Subway to get a few sandwiches for lunch. While ordering food from the nice lady helping me make my sandwich, I was rudely interrupted by her Manager. This all began because I asked for a sandwich called the "Melt" (turkey, ham, bacon cheese, toasted) which must have been rebranded to "the club". This confused the nice girl helping make my sandwich so I just decided to tell her what I wanted.
Seemed simple enough right? The manager had just tendered change from another patron in the gas station, then proceeded to hop back behind the subway counter with out washing her hands, while wearing the same gloves she tendered the change with mind you, and started to touch the meat and arrange the sandwich to " her preference"., I worked at this exact location when I was 16 and that is the first thing you learn is always wash your hands before handling food.
When confronted about the contamination of the food she proceeded to get upset and defensive about it. Gaslighting us saying it didn't happen even though my fiance, myself and the girl originally making my food saw this happen. She offered to make another sandwich but was extremely rude about the situation. This get even worse when we get home and realize that my finances sandwich was made incorrectly. At this point we just wanted a refund. My fiance drove back down to request a refund for the sandwich and that's when the manager went ballistic berating her and making her about the sandwich. All we asked was you keep it professional and issue a refund. In the end we only got a "partial refund"
Come the next day we check our bank accounts and saw that we were triple charged. The "partial refund" actually charged our card another $8. All in all we will never be giving our business to this...
ย ย ย Read moreI had a terrible customer experience here. I stopped in with one of the mailed coupons that comes every month. I proceeded to order the food and at the end the coupon did not work. The owner/manager claimed that the coupon had already been used. However it had not, it was brand new from the mail. She refused to honor the coupon and I ended up paying close to double for 3 sandwiches. She even showed me an older coupon in their system that was 2 dollars cheaper. Iโm assuming their system was out of date and thus the coupon did not work. I wonโt be returning.
Update: I contested via subway online and the owner honored the coupon by giving 2 free sandwiches. Leaving at 3 stars due...
ย ย ย Read moreJason is quite simply the greatest sandwich artist Iโve ever seen. If it was permissible to know his schedule, I would go out of my way to go to the specific subway simply to have a sandwich crafted by Jason. It doesnโt matter if you ask him for extra of something or to go light on an option, he nails the amount every single time. Heโs quick and efficient but doesnโt rush or sacrifice on quality. If every subway was like this one with Jason behind the helm, I would eat here four...
