"3rd time's the charm"? Nope, sadly not. To sum this place up: it's good but not great. We've had the shrimp scampi, walleye, flat bread, chicken marsala, artichoke dip...it's all good, but not great. Which is pretty disappointing because the prices would suggest otherwise. For example, the crust on the $25 walleye is pretty bland and the side of mixed vegetables came out to varying degrees of cooked, under cooked, and over cooked. There is also a baked potato side that was pretty dry, but enough butter, salt, and pepper will improve anything. What's really annoying is the $12 old fashioned that is 80% ice cube. Just look at the size of that thing! Skimp much? The service was just OK. They were slammed for a Tuesday night so I can't fault the slow service too much but our waitress did say our order was never put in because the "ticket printer ran out of ink"...not sure how believable that is. She did offer some soup or salads on the house while we waited for the order to get made. Look, this place is always busy so people clearly like it and must know something I don't. If you want to pay high end prices for generic Sysco food, then this is your place.

I highly recommend this place and I have to first say how amazing their staff is. You can tell it’s managed well due to its friendly staff and speed of service. Drinks tastes were fresh and well prepared. Our server Jennifer was such a sweetheart and kind person. She went over the menu in detail and went over all our questions. Again, great management. It has a very beautiful and elegant atmosphere. Very comfortable feel with excellent food. We ordered cheese curds with a hint of spice Chipotle aioli that really enhanced the appetizer. I personally ordered the Gouda pizza and the crust is 2nd to none. I can’t wait to try the other specialized pizzas. We also ordered 2 different burgers that were cooked to a perfect medium as requested and obviously heats top of the line beef products. I can’t wait to come back to try the Dinner menu. We will be back again and again. Bravo Beau Geer Owner - Xtreme Pest Solutions

Stopped here for a lunch (although same menu for dinner) The smoked chicken chipotle sandwich had great flavor, a little bit of heat, and the sourdough bread was nice and crunchy. The fries paired nicely and were well seasoned. The grilled ahi tuna sandwich was decently cooked, not overly done with a nice pink center. The aioli on the sandwich has a nice flavor. The mac and cheese side is a good entree size for a kiddo. The choice of noodle allows for the sauce to be soaked in. The sauce was nice and cheesy with good flavor, not too exotic but not a plain cheddar sauce. The chocolate cake was the star of the meal. They offer two sizes, the small was more than enough for three people to share. The cake was moist and dense with a ganache icing and filling. Very decadent with the chocolate being a mellow dark variety. Overall a good meal and will likely be back to try more of the menu.

This place is awful. This is the first and last time we will ever dine here. Very overpriced and overhyped. Server didnt know if they could make a mojito, even after my dining partner pointed out that according to the cocktail menu, they should have all the ingredients based on the other drinks. Cocktails took 15 minutes to make it to the table and didn't appear to be correct, but we still drank them since we were thirsty and never saw the server for quite a while afterwards. We ordered the walleye entree and chicken marsala pasta. It took around an hour to get our food after we had finished our app. The entrees were cold and severly under seasoned. The Marsala sauce was broken so you could see all the oil seperated from the sauce, and it had a film on the top like it was sitting under the heat lamps in the kitchen for 20 minutes. Plus, the chicken was overlooked and dry. The walleye had an abnormally thick crust on it, which was rubbery and not crispy. It was the weirdest crust on a fish we've ever had. Who is cooking this food bc I don't think it's anyone who has cooked before. The baked potato came with packets of sour cream and butter. Yes I said packets, like in the cafeteria in school. How can you serve packets of condiments?!?! Never have I seen those used in a restaurant before. The server never checked in on us while we were eating, and never asked if we wanted desert before dropping the check, or even offer more drinks during the meal. Overall, really poor food and service. I've had better at low budget breakfast joints and national chains. W&R needs to take a long look at that menu and refine things a bit more to make it easier on whomever is cooking. Plus, train the staff to be more attentive and maybe get an extra food runner. It seemed like there was only one person bringing out all the food and that might have been why our food was cold and congealed. To anyone considering this place, I would recommend turning around and walking across the...

Very average. We were underwhelmed. I was hoping for a fun new place to eat. Service was exceptionally slow and once our food arrived (brought by a wait assistant) our server completely disappeared. Our server never checked in to see how our food was. At the end of our meal, we sat for 10 minutes with napkins on our plates and when she finally came back she asked if we wanted refills, failing to notice we were done. My stuffed herbed chicken was very bland, almost no trace of herbs. Just chicken stuffed with a chunk of cream cheese. It was over cooked and rubbery. I was hungry so I grudgingly ate half of it. It wasn't awful, just not good. When she asked if I wanted a box for all of my leftovers I very politely told her no thank-you and that it just wasn't very good. She did apologize and say she would let the kitchen know but there was no offer of a discount or any type of goodwill gesture from the restaurant. She did ask if there was anything they could do (but of course we were already done eating since she spent so much time ignoring us). We could have requested a refund or something but that should be something a restaurant offers and not be something a patron has to request. That seemed tacky. My wife's sandwich was fine but ordinary and not something to bring us back. We were also very surprised that a place that advertises having a whiskey tasting bar wouldn't bother to have a whiskey list in the dining room. Seems like a huge missed...
