VG/Collectible side: Great store! A very impressive selection of games and accessories for all consoles, including one of the bigger Genesis selections I have seen in the area. Retro stores seem to generally lack an expansive Genesis selection, but this one is solid. On this trip, I came in to buy a Wii Classic controller, which I was able to find immediately walking into the store. Getting home, I noticed that the left dpad button wasn't working (which is a very common issue on wii classic controllers and should be an easy fix, I just don't have the time to really tinker with it,) so I brought it back and they swapped it out for me, no problem. The controller I walked out with minutes later works perfectly. Saying this not to highlight that the controller had an issue, this stuff happens when you deal with retro things in general, I wanted to highlight the great customer service that came from it. Definitely worth stopping by if you're into retro gaming!
TCG side: I have only been in here a handful of times as it seems they're still trying to get everything situated, but I will say as someone who has been in the TCG scene for 20 years now, I think this side has promise. I gave a cursory glance at MTG and Pokemon singles and they have a solid selection for a newer TCG shop. Staff seems friendly and knowledgeable. My only concern with it is building an established community given the way it's laid out. I could see it being difficult to have a 20+ person FNM or large prerelease as an example. The store space itself is small, but I have seen stores maximize play space which I don't quite think this one has figured out. Events are important for TCG shops to thrive so being able to have the largest play space possible to accommodate that is a priority. Again, they could still be trying to get everything situated, this is just my observations.
All that said, I don't think it's fair to not give a 5 star rating. The video game side is fantastic and the TCG side has promise if they can work out a...
Read moreI’ve been a patron at this shop since it first opened. I want used game stores to thrive and I know how difficult it is for them to even survive.
The owner of this store is very rude. He has poor customer service, nearly refuses to speak to you and never smiles.
The prices are about average and the selection is okay. Most products are in good condition.
The last time I went I picked up Majora’s Mask for n64 and I feel that I was ripped off. When I asked to purchase the game, the owner removed it from the case and proceeded to ring me up. He never offered me a second to check the condition of the game. When I got to my car, I noticed that there were cracks in the shell and something rattling inside. The worst part is that the bottom tabs on the shell are broken off. So you can pull the game apart from the bottom. I was able to open the shell and found a piece of the plastic support structure had broken off. This game was never inspected let alone refurbished before reselling.
I paid $55 for this game when it is worth closer to $20.
I have called to discuss this issue and request a refund and was promptly hung up on.
I will not be...
Read moreInfinite Games LLC is a true gem for anyone who loves gaming and geek culture. Their selection of old-school merchandise is fantastic, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. What really sets them apart is how open and inclusive the space is — they support local artists, hobbyists, and all kinds of enthusiasts.
The store features plenty of tables for board games, TTRPGs, miniature painting and wargaming, trading card games, and more. On most nights, they host events and game sessions that bring the community together. My personal favorite is the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League every Tuesday night — it’s always a great time.
