This is gonna be a long one. But hopefully it'll help the next guy. I've been coming here since I was a kid. Haven't been in over a year. I've helped run a restaurant and also have had experience just waiting tables. I understand when things are busy, the service can get spotty. I am patient and literally never complain at restaurants unless the experience and or food is just awful. My husband and I came in here last Saturday. It wasn't very busy, it was around 4. We were seated and our drink order was taken. 15 minutes goes by and we still do not have our drinks or chips and salsa. Our waiter had the whole bar area himself so I was patient. At times I noticed him just kind of standing around and that's when I lost my patience. He finally comes to the table to tell us they are out of the beer we ordered. Fine. No big deal. But what was a big deal was how all of a sudden his attitude has changed tremendously. He is now being rude, rolling his eyes, and rushing us to figure out what we'd like to order instead. We ask for frozen margaritas, as we notice they have a frozen margarita machine. He literally rolls his eyes at us and walks off. Still no chips and salsa. And no water that I ordered when we sat down. Another 20 minutes goes by and he comes back with 2 margaritas that have been ran through a blender and are absolutely nothing but margarita mix. He slams them down and walks off. At this point we should have just left and I wish we had have. We take one sip and immediately try to flag him down to let him know that the margaritas aren't going to work for us. We were super confused because we see him making margaritas from the machine for other people, so why were ours made in a blender? The ice was so chunky it wouldn't even go through a straw. When he finally acknowledged us after about 10 minutes, he was mad along with the bar tender. Instead of trying to fix the issue, he got defensive and absolutely wasn't having it. We were so nice about it. No attitude at all. He finally takes our food order and in the middle of my husband speaking, he says "yeah yeah" and walks off. Needless to say the food order was incomplete when it came out because he didn't stay long enough to hear the order.. I know we should have left or spoken with a manager. And I'm kicking myself for not doing so. I never got my water, so as we were leaving I asked for a to-go water. He bring a to-go box and slings it and walks off. I didn't need a box, considering the food was absolutely disgusting. I wanted a water, which I still never got. I dont know what happened here. But we won't be back. no second chances after that. The attitude was completely insane and uncalled for. Especially considering how patient we were. Even without the attitude, the...
Read moreThis place is not real Mexican at all, let alone anything that's edible. I was wishing I had gone to Mc'Donalds instead after coming here. When we walked in it was totally empty and we waited about 10 minutes for someone to even come over to take our drink order. Their cheese dip is also very tiny for how much you pay and has no flavor and their salsa looks and almost tastes like marinara sauce. Upon receiving our food my quesadilla was burnt, extremely black, then I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to even come over to tell them it was burnt and I wanted another, this whole time too whoever our "waitress" was never came by to check or get us refills, so the second time I receive my quesadilla there's only cheese and other fillings about the size of a golfball in the middle of the tortilla. That's it. The rest is all just plain tortilla and it was super soggy and rubbery, I think they steamed it instead of cooking it that time. My husband's carne asada meat was hard as a rock and like leather, he hardly ate it and he'll eat nearly anything. And the whole platter itself was not like carne asada I've seen and no food was hot that's for sure. There was also many flies flying around us constantly, I'd hate to see what the kitchen looks like. All in all this was one of the worst "Mexican" restaurants I've...
Read moreI am honestly making sure that I am not exaggerating my visit to Los Cowboys on Friday, 9/20/2024 so here goes: On the positive side, my waitress was a very sweet young lady who apologized for everything she did as she was brand new and of course my buddy and I were very happy with her and we told her not to worry. Unfortunately, we both got the $7.75 lunch specials and they were tiny. My friend got the Chile relleno which was served without the Chile! It was, literally, a little square of a poblano or bell pepper mixed up with, what looked like, refried beans. I had a taco and a tiny "burrito." I didn't say anything to the very young sweet waitress and we thanked her and tipped her pretty well (she was so sweet and so nervous). I didn't mention it but we had a cheese dip that was almost nine bucks!! I didn't notice it until we got our check for two tiny lunches, cheese dip, and two teas came to near $32.00. The service was fine, the big teas were nice, but I can't justify the price nor the portion size. With the vast amount of Mexican restaurants in Carroll County - this really blew my mind. I'm not going on a crusade, but my friends and I...
