The only reason I’m not leaving a 1 star review is because I’ve never bought from you guys. Yesterday was the first time I’ve ever been there and it was just to sell you guys some funko pops. You guys need to do better and be more fair when it comes to buying from customers. Was looking over the invoice and overall, I’m pretty sure you guys gave me 20%-25% on overall pricing for funkos. There were 2 funkos worth $25 each and you guys gave me less than $5 on each. That’s a slap in the face. It’s not right. I understand y’all need to make money, I know that it depends on rarity and all that other stuff. But still, if a funko is worth $25, you guys should be giving back a little more than 20%.. and I know what’s coming “I wasn’t forced to sell to you guys”.. I get that.. but I wanted to offload funkos quickly that were taking up space. To put things in perspective, you guys bought 15 funkos from me for $19.50.. two funkos alone were worth $25 each.. again, I’m not gonna leave a 1 star review over this, I just feel like you guys need to do better. Your “system” you guys use, needs to adjust to be more fair. The workers were nice and took the time to price anything out, I’m not upset with them. It’s just how you guys seem to do business on the buying from customers aspect is shady.

Such a cool store! There is a little something for everyone. Lots of trading card options, plushies, figurines and video games. I have never seen so many adorable Kirby and Pokémon plushies on one place. Plus they have a great selection of figurines from One Piece, DragonBall Z, Miku, Demon Slayer, etc. I ended up not getting anything just yet, but there's lots of Miku figures there that we don't have so I'll definitely be back. Especially to possibly trade in some old games and figures. Didn't get a chance to talk to staff but they seemed to be busy keeping the store stocked and clean.

I've been enjoying Cool Stuff again now that they have new owners. (Video Game Heaven). They have a good brand here and I don't see them changing the name anytime soon if ever. I've found plenty of portable game content here (PSP, Vita, 3DS and GBA) and other retro consoles as well. In addition to selling old systems and games they also have a repair and refurbishing area in the back can pretty much fix or rebuild just about any of those classic consoles. You can find Cool stuff in Timberlake Shopping center in VB.

, first time amazing impressions staff was very kind , 2nd time I was looking for a PlayStation 4 Pro to finish a few games before I finally decided on going to do the ps5 anyways I purchased the console paid almost retail brand new price , “no problem thinking it’s refurbished” I got a faulty controller “they did replace twice” , I had then eventually just bought a brand new one since having to go back twice for bad controllers , each time they where very nice about it , and I even traded in a older system & spent a nice chunk in there same day of the 3 third time coming back for a replacement controller & I have finally went out and bought the ps5 so I went to trade in my ps4 pro back to cool stuff because I appreciated the business so much, well upon arrival I set everything down still in amazing shape it’s been on a tv stand for 3 months & I have played several disc titles with no issues what so ever loved the system I just don’t need all these things around therefore I wanted to trade it back in , well I got knocked for not bringing them the knock off 7/11 cable for the charger I took the L I was going to pay them or get deducted 10$ no problem so the total value working would of been 200$ with the cable , no cable 190$ that’s not including my several titles of games I brought in. The female associate that made me so angry I forgot her name but took the PlayStation then plugged it into the tv , hooked up the WiFi then tried to put in mortal combat & the system wouldn’t read the disk. , keep in mind I was playing this system 3 days ago.. never had any issues so then I politely had said did you install the software for the game she then replied with an attitude yes I did OK cool no problem well do you want to try it again or do you want to try different copy of the same game she then refused to try a different copy, so then I said well I bought it from you guys I have bought games from you guys & it has never not worked so I don’t know why that game isn’t working but try a different one, well she didn’t like that comment from me , then said it’s damaged it’s only worth 58.99 & it cost 20$ to send it off to repair… okay so I stood there in disbelief this system was working just fine a few days ago and all of the sudden it’s broken. So she gives me everything back does offer me a bag with a attitude. I appreciated the service but she talked down on me as if I was trying to pull one on her but I’ve been a customer I have spent almost a grand in the last few months from your location you don’t gotta be so damn rude. Anyways I took to PlayStation 4 pro to Best Buy where I know everyone & I had geek squad do a full system test & I brought a copy of mortal combat from my brothers house so they could test it out & the rest of my games , ** passed all test Nothing wrong with the system & I saw them playing it for a few minutes in the back : I just wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with the system before attempting to use it or sell it again since what I watched at cool stuff take place…. We’ll Best Buy offered me 200$ & a promo card so I traded the working system in without the charging cable to the brand new controller. Cool stuff tried to offer me basically 45$ after my fees for a completely perfect system: side note Best Buy also took all my games in I left with over 350$ in credit so that would be the last time I recommended or shop at cool stuff on...

Purchased an N64 at this store in December and it gave me nothing but issues since day one. Granted that consoles from the 1990s are very old in the first place, this unit in particular was so visibly dirty on the outside that my gut gave me the early hunch that I may have problems. In the end, I did, but I digress.

The line in the store was awkward and there was not much structure to how the employees seemed to be helping customers. It took far too long for anyone to ask me if I had been helped.

However, the real issue was not the stale customer service, but the actual unit I purchased. Yes, it was dirty, as some systems that have age are, but this one seemed like its previous owner(s) failed to take care of it at all, and it had dirt in spots that seemed impossible to clean, almost as if the console itself had been rolled in dirt. I made the purchase and took the N64 back to my home and gave it a go with multiple games – froze with every game at varying times between immediately and 15 minutes. I know that cartridges can get dirty and prevent contact, so I did some cleaning with 91% rubbing alcohol and figured that would eliminate the constant freezing, even though it seemed odd that every single game froze in the same timeframe.

Turns out it is not the games. It is the system, and when I attempted to bring it back for an exchange, or perhaps a refund, I was told that they give out store credit instead of money refunds or I could exchange for a different unit. The problem is that they didn’t have any N64’s in stock, and while the man who helped me out on my second visit was a great employee, he did mention that the unit itself was extremely filthy inside and was even surprised it was sold to me. He told this to me after testing the unit and cleaning it out. Moreover, it did freeze on them when they started it up.

I was given another 30 days warranty but what good is a warranty if all you offer is an exchange for a product you don’t have in stock or in-store credit, when the faith of the customer is lost because you’ve sold them a broken piece of equipment? I know stuff happens, it is an old console and sometimes you get a bad apple, but after calling them up again, they offered for me to bring the unit back for additional testing and completely refusing to take my phone number so they can at least call us when they do have a system in stock. I don’t have the time for the constant trips back and forth just for confirmation of what we already know.

I was able to purchase another console elsewhere and it works beautifully with every game I own, so it is definitely the system.

The runaround was annoying. You need to provide full refunds to individuals if equipment does not work and you no longer have stock. My time is worth money, so is yours, so you can recognize that wasting it is not beneficial for anyone involved. Bad customer service over the phone is common, but in this situation, they seemed rude about it. What do you expect? You sold broken equipment and I had an employee admit that it probably should not have been sold to me. What a joke!

Please clean and test everything you receive on a trade.

Never...

The people that work here are out of control. You can tell its a family run business by the way the treat people like trash and have Noone to hold them accountable. I called in wanting to inquire about selling a game, on the phone they told me all I need was the disc in good condition, and they have no use for the actual game case, just make sure the artwork on the front of the game is intact and have the disc be clean. I once again ask are you SURE I don't get any extra $ for having the game case as well he says he doesn't want or need the case with it.Ok, no problem. So i drive out there and walk to the front of the store, where all the employees were busy, and some big sloppy employee cuts his conversation with the people he was helping and asks me ," You selling?". I say yea and hand him the case, in literally 1 second he THROWS it back on the counter at me and says " game inside isn't the game in the case, I need the case ". I said sir I just called up not but 30 minutes ago and asked that specific question and they told me twice I don't need the case. He then gives me a look like I'm a huge idiot in front of all the other customers and says " well there must have been a miscommunication because I'm not buying that game without the case" he starts to laugh with the people he was talking to about my situation and i got really mad and just left. This is the 2nd time OUT OF 2 TIMES I'VE EVER BEEN THERE where I.either wasted a trip or been treated very rudely by the people Inside. People wonder why so many businesses fail or people just go to wal mart? BC PEOPLE ACT LIKE THEY CAN DO OR SAY WHATEVER THEY WANT TO PEOPLE JUST BECAUSE IT'S THEIR BUSINESS , AND IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH THEIR BENT LOGIC TOO BAD, THERE IS NO STRUCTURE TO HOLD ANYONE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE JUST GO TO...
