To begin with, the store was having issues with its registers not working when I pulled into the drive-thru the first time, and I was apologized to for the inconveniences, but not given a ballpark time to return, or even asked to return later.
I really had my heart set on KFC, so I pulled into the lot of the Hardee's next door, and waited a bit. After about 15 minutes I called the number for the store, and there was an answer, but no response to my hellos. I just decided to try the drive thru again.I just bought a 16 place dark meat meal. I was told that I couldn't get extra crispy because they didn't have enough. Not " if you would like to wait we can get you the extra crispy.", but "we don't have enough extra crispy for all dark meat." I would've been happy to wait, but wasn't given the option.
In addition to the drive thru fun, I got it home and the chicken tastes burnt, and has a granular floor texture. The sides were all correct, and delicious as usual, but the reason I went to KFC (the chicken) was inedible.
If course, I'll go back. I'm a huge fan of KFC's chicken, AND sides, it was just an unfortunately disappointing experience. (... In my experience with KFC, the disappointments are few and far between, and I understand that there are uncontrollable factors in the food...
Read morethere was a tall white guy cooking in the back and he was working his butt off trying to get everything that needed to be done get done, and the manager was yelling at him telling him to hurry up. so i ordered the 12 pc tenders and they didnt have any up. so the cook walked up to the counter where im at and asked politely if i gave him 5 or so minutes he would prep and cook me some and thats when the store manager yelled at him. so i read his name tag and managers name was mike. told him he needed to do what he said and not worry about the customers so quickly. so i asked what the cooks name was and the girl at the counter told me it was james. if thats how a manager talks to his employees im surprised kfc has employees to begin with. but props to Mr. James for being so nice to me. good luck to him and the poor girl at the register who apologized for hearing what happened and gave me a free drink...
Read moreI ordered a quick meal for my family since I was tired from work. It was $10 Tuesday, but I opted to treat them to another meal deal with more food. I went to this KFC, they told me I would have to wait about 7 minutes. That wasn’t a problem, but then seven minutes became 10. A girl brought out the food, with no apology for the wait. Hmm, ok. I arrived home to realize one piece was missing one of the orders. By that time I was tired, pissed and just totally annoyed at it all.
My husband called and spoke to someone claiming they were the manager. The manager claimed she remembered the order and saw her worker put one less chicken in the box. She said I can come back and get it. Once again, no apology, no good explanation.
Umm…so you saw her do it and didn’t say anything? 🤔 What is wrong with folks?! I’ll pass. Keep your chicken and unprofessionalism. There’s other places...
