A must-do in Virginia Beach! We went on a dolphin/sunset cruise and couldn't have had a better evening out. The Captain did a brief safety briefing, asked if we had any thing in particular we wanted to see on the weather and we were off. The boat was clean and comfortable (bathroom on board!). We saw so many dolphins, it was just amazing. Watching the sunset from the water was an incredible experience, then the Captain kept us out long enough for us to see the beautiful lights on the Lesner bridge and harbor. What a fantastic experience. I highly recommend and we will be back!

Great trip with Captain Jay. He's a local and spent most of his life here. He knows where to go and he knows what to do for fun. We went fishing - had a blast, but he also does dolphin seeing. I chartered him a couple of years ago and we spent an hour watching a whale. It was awesome. Told me he is getting ready to start a SpecOps themed adventure package that sounds awesome, especially considering he works close to the Navy's master jet base, SEALs facilities, and other military installations. Can't go wrong with First Landing Charters.

We had a wonderful time viewing dolphins for 2 hours on a Sunday. Captain Jay (ex Navy) is very good at what he does - well navigated, super humble, and a fun guy to talk to. As we were riding out past the lighthouse, we were greeted also by the excursions rigid inflatable boa that is part of the sister business. Absolutely cool to watch the RIB in action, and great knowing about the history of the dolphins in this journey. We'll be back in the future!

My husband and kids went out last week for a 4 hr inshore trip. Their captain was great. Unfortunately the weather turned so trip ended half way through. The trip cost $590 + tip. The captain said, "come back again & we'll take care of you". I called twice & left messages & sent an email plus left message on website if they could call me back. 2 days later I called a 3rd time in the evening. The owner "Jay" answered. I was very friendly at 1st politely asking if he give offer us either 2 hr trip before we were returning home or in the future if we ever returned or even a partial refund. Jay spoke rudely through the entire call. He told me they don't give any refunds for those circumstances (even though online he states that if your trip gets canceled for weather they will refund or reschedule) Since our trip was half a trip, I'm not sure why he wouldn't offer half a refund or half a rescheduled trip on a future date. He talked to me like I was insane for even requesting. When I said I was disappointed with the fact that I had to call for 2 days without a return call he said " Well, I'm answering your questions now, aren't I?" I WAS THE ONE WHO CALLED HIM! Anyway he was obnoxious with me from start to finish. I lost it by at the end and just hung up. Anyway my kids reeled up 2 rays they through back & 1 spanish mackeral for $600+ dollars. Their captain was a good guy but the owner is...

Well our captain was amazing. He did his best to satisfy us. We went for the dolphin and whale sightseeing tour. We weren’t told that since is was raining and the ocean was rough that we would have to stay inland until arrival. So no we seen no dolphins or whales. Instead we seen million dollar homes and yachts. For some ppl $400 is t much money but to us it’s a lot and was the biggest waste of money we could have spent. Seeing our kids sad because that’s all that wanted to do is see some sort of ocean fish. Maybe the company should have offered us a refund or a new time to take the tour but no they said it’ll be fine. Again Donny was a great captain and wSnt his fault the company scams the customers he did his best as. Tried to make our kids smile. What a disappointment. I would not recommend these guys for anything. They’ll lie and take you knowing your not going to...

Learn to drive your truck Captain! When you have signage on it, expect to hear about your terrible driving. You cut a corner in the neighborhood where you do business nearly wiping out the front end of a vehicle moving in the opposite direction. If that’s how you drive on land, I’ll avoid your charters thank you!

10/26 In reply: I appreciate your years of service to the community but please understand, I do not accept your reply as evidence of your driving ability. There were no pedestrians on the road, there was no one in the yards adjacent either. I remember the time and day this happened vividly. Maybe you're mistaken of the day that this happened sir because of the number of times you say you use that street. Can you even tell me where this happened and which corner I'm referring...
