I live in Reedley, so going to Visalia to visit a park is a BIG THANG! Haha. But seriously, my kiddos and I absolutely LOVED our time at Plaza Park. I took a HUGE bag of bread and we fed the ducks and geese for a couple hours. Some would even eat out of our hands! We saw turtles swimming in the pond, we found an abandoned nest w/eggs, and a crazy goose fight! The ONLY negative thing I experienced here was seeing the trash in the pond and a dead goose near by (probably caused by eating the trash-and might explain the empty nest). But luckily I had a walking pole and my pinchers on a stick, so I collected 3 FULL GROCERY BAGS of trash out of that pond. AND also seeing a kid chase the birds. When I asked him to stop the mother rudly said, "my son can do what he wants." So that was a negative. AND SO WRONG! But, for another positive... I really enjoyed the jungle gym at this park! The obstacle course was so fun, and I really enjoyed playing like a kid with my kids. All in all, I had a wonderful time there and would gladly go again and I HIGHLY recommend this park for a picnic or to just get out in nature to relax. PS- PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TRASH! THERES ONLY 1 EARTH, AND WHEN ITS GONE...ITS GONE. SO PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT LEAVE TRASH 🙏 Thanks & enjoy your day @...
Read morePlaza Park is a great park for everyone. They have so many different areas, there is definitely something for everyone. It has a pond where you can go feed the ducks and fish. It also has tennis courts, basket ball courts, baseball fields, play areas for the kids, lots of open areas to let the kids run around, and lots of picnic areas to accomadate a big gathering or even just a quick trip to the park. It has lots of shade and lots of room. It does have restrooms but they are sometimes really dirty. So bring some wet napkins and sanitizer. It even has a couple Pokestops for Pokemon Go players. Across the street is the dog park as well. This is a great park that definitely has something...

Everybody’s always friendly. If not very interesting somewhere I can definitely definitely beton being safe in the midnight hours in my car you can’t just park anywhere nowadays, especially if you’re homeless or if you have to rest as long as you pick up your trash and take very good care of your surroundings and I don’t see a problem spending the...
