Due to the current lock down the park was fairly empty which was great. We got there at 8am too, so that probably played a roll in the lack of visitors. There's one play area (the bigger one) that has a good variety of play sets for different age groups. They range from little toddlers up to older kids capable of more advanced climbing and swinging. The smaller playground is great for kids 2 and up (there's a sign posted that says so) and has a fun scavenger hunt that's actually a little challenging. My boys had a blast trying to find all the items throughout the jungle gym. All in all, I love bringing my boys to this park!

It’s the biggest park in Visalia that I know of. The playground is big, newer, clean and partially covered. The park also has lots of other stuff - picnic areas, a pond with lots of ducks, bathrooms, plenty of parking, dog park, sports areas including tennis courts. It’s a little out of the way from the main part of town, but it’s a really nice park.

Pretty nice park. The duck pond was clean. There is a bridge out that hopefully will get fixed soon but there are a couple other ways to get to the playground. There are two playgrounds. One is huge and then there is a small one over by the tennis courts. Overall good place.

I had lived in Visalia for thirty years and went to meet a good friend I haven't seen in 26 years due to losing touch and the park has homeless people sleeping everywhere I definitely understand that times are brutal but the park has really gone to crap!! The bathrooms had waste on the walls it was disgusting!! When I tried to use the best one a duck attacked my leg lol!! I just looked at the poor dude and laughed!! It was grabbing my pant leg and biting! I got it turned around and gently booted its butt with the side of my shoe lol!! Poor baby though I was scared of it, it was hilarious especially when the homeless guys watched the scene unfold lol, and I heard one say "she didn't scream dang!!" It was cute. Anyways I've been gone from Visalia for about 24 years and it breaks my heart to see a once beautiful park die! 😩 I wish I could give it a better review...

It's a park with people in it. There is Homeless in and around so if you don't like the homeless then don't go there. For the most part they keep to themselves unless you are rude to them. Then you might have a problem. And please don't call the police on them they struggle enough as it is, not all of them are bad people at heart. So just give them a plate of food or leave them be. HOWEVER, the ducks and geese, omg you give them a whole loaf of bread and if you don't have more they get vicious about it and the want more and more and more. So make sure you bring plenty for them or they'll chase...
