This is a very nice public park with a rec center, disc golf course, play ground, outdoor picnic tables, outdoor basketball courts, bocce ball courts, concert venue, a gazebo or two, etc... This place seems to have it all and it is very large, lots of space so you never feel crowded and can find a place to hang out privately if that's what you're looking for. The park is very hilly. I have only ever been here to disc golf so can't speak too much for the other activities available.... The disc golf course is great though. Every hole feels different, lots of uphill shots, downhill shots, straight shots, shots over valleys, shots through trees, over trees around trees the course has them all. I would be here much more often and it would be in my rotation with Morley and Kit Carson if only it didn't take me so long to get there. As far as I've seen this course is never crowded. We came up here last Saturday cause Kit Carson was moving at a snails pace and loved being able to sail through the course at our desired pace, no hole back ups or people...
Read moreBrengle Terrace is a good place to bring a blanket and just lay in the grass read a book or bring a picnic lunch. There is a free disc park. There is a shop next to the soft ball fields where you can either rent or buy the equipment you'll need. If you find a disc on the ground, leave it. Chances are a player will come retrieve it shortly. They are pretty good about seeking and retrieving those. There are tennis courts as well. First come, first served. I think there's an option to reserve a court. Check with the parks and recreation dept. In the activity center I've seen Zumba classes offered. Stop by to see what they currently offer. Take the first entrance to the park, go left and you'll see the building on your right. The Moonlight Theatre (outdoor) is in the park. Check online for the schedule or walk up to view current shows. The park has picnic tables around the entire park, bbq pits, clean restrooms, and a nice children's playground. Fun for the...
