Ordered pork XiaoLongBao, pork chives & shrimp steamed dumplings, Taiwanese fried chicken, beef rolls, sesame & scallion pancake, beef noodle soup, and shrimp fried rice. Highly recommend all of the above. Everything was so good, absolutely zero complaints. Great flavor on everything, the XiaoLongBao’s are bursting with soup, pancake is not dry at all. Even the leftovers after 2 days are still so good. Everything here really is handmade. The dumplings and noodles taste like what my Taiwanese mother would make back home. Usually you get super thirsty after eating Chinese food because they usually put a ton of MSG. I haven’t felt that with the food at this place. Service is straightforward, they will attend to you and give you anything you need. Ton of parking, also great prices! Total came out to be $86 for everything, less than what I expected. Best Chinese food in North San Diego by far. I’ve been searching for authentic Chinese food and I have finally found this place.

A place I'd love to really like, but just not good enough for 5 stars. Came with a total of 4 adults and 4 kids, bill was $85, definitely higher than I'd like to spend. Food: Ordered the pot sticker, dumpling, two noodle dishes, popcorn chicken, and the steam bun. Portions are decent size, but not huge. All noodles are hand made, which is the biggest selling point of this place, and is great. The stuffing between the dumplings, pot stickers and the steam bun all seemed very similar, no depth between them, which is a huge let down. Service: nothing bad to write about. Environment: basic order-at-the-counter Chinese food, nothing crazy.

I was hoping to really like Kung Fu Noodle. Tip: Order at the counter then have a seat. This is not a full service restaurant. Get your own water on the left side of the register. Nice size restaurant with a few tables that can accommodate larger parties. (More than 4) Service is not one of their strengths. so The girl at the front counter does not smile and stands there the entire time other than to help with clearing tables. Food: Taiwanese Fried Chicken Dan Dan Noodle The Dan Dan Noodle was good and had great flavors. The chicken was bland and the sauce was meh. I'd like to return and try the XLB and other dumplings.

Definitely one of those places that looks "less classy", but if you know, you know. The food makes up for anything people say about "unfriendly staff". Just be aware, it's run similar to other Asian restaurants where you fill out a paper menu, then pass it back to a server. You won't be bothered by servers throughout your meal -- you have to approach the desk at the end to pay. If you're used to smaller establishments, this is normal, and is a good departure from modern/fancy places where you're bothered every three minutes by staff. The bao buns are to die for -- fluffy and soft, absolutely massive and very filling (much better than other places that offer super small bao). Definitely will be ordering some for take-away another. I got the vegetable and red bean kinds. Additionally, be warned that some options on the menu have meat but don't list it. I ordered the dandan noodle and didn't realize it would have meat (ground pork) -- I'm vegetarian so I just avoided that part and gave it to my friend. Otherwise, the noodles themselves are bomb. Again, I'm vegetarian, so I can't speak for the meat options. Still, liked what I had and will definitely be coming back to try other veg options I saw; I'll just be sure to ask if they're definitely...

Delectable, mouth-watering, bursting with flavor, are ways to describe the buns, dumplings and noodles one can expect to order at Kung Fu Noodle.

This is not a typical “fancy restaurant” where the staff waits on you. Instead it is a much more immersive experience that makes the atmosphere of this restaurant relaxed and warm for family and friends who decide to dine here.

A humble restaurant with kind staff who let you make your order without pressure of having everything In mind at the moment of arrival. Take time to watch the fishes in the aquarium, peruse the menu and get comfortable while your food is prepared.

I enjoyed the beef noodle soup. A light but flavorful broth that pairs deliciously with the noodles and mixtures of baby bokchoy, broccoli and other greens.

I frequent this restaurant and plan to come back again and again for the consistent mouth watering meals and of course, to try new things a lot the way. Next time,...
