Went in with the family and being the only vegan I figured a Mexican restaurant must have vegan friendly food, so I ordered the cactus burrito. That was the nastiest burrito I have ever tasted It only had grilled onions, refried beans and cactus. Idk if it was the taste of the beans and/or the cactus(nopales) it self but it was so gross. I asked the manager if I could have the item removed from the check since I didn't like it and explained to him I was vegan and he said he was going to talk with chef, but I told him he didn't have to that if it wasn't possible to remove it it was fine. To not worry about it. Then the cook came out and began telling me how he was the one that made it, how everything was fresh and what was wrong with it but I told him I just didn't like it. I just don't get why the manager had to make a big fuss about it. Then he started acting super rude to us specially against my 10 month old who was walking by the aisles. He told me to get her because he could bump into her or make him drop the food when he wasn't even close to her nor was he carrying anything. Just super rude attitude like a lil kid throwing a tamtrum just because I didn't like his food. Will never eat...

Poor service, I was ignored a few times didnt acknowledge me at all i waited about 10min to 15min they helped all the people behind me but never helped me. waiters would just walk by help others waiting to pick up behind me felt like that was strange. Owner kept helping others behind me as well he never said someone will be right with you nothing. After all others were helped they decided to come up to me and ask whats the name on the order. I opened the bag no salsa the stuff for the menudo were not inside either. Not good. The California burrito 🌯 was not how it used to be. The machaka burrito used to be juicy so good it was dry we also ordered a large menudo didnt really have meat or how we had ordered it. for next time please try harder i loved coming to this place i will try again. But it may be a while for that next time i normally go very often. Next time im hoping i get the experience i used to get from food...

Best Barbacoa EVER! Always come here to get a tasty meal. Meat is so soft and juicy, it will literally slips off the bone and melts on your tongue. Definitely worth putting all the condiments on your taco de barbacoa; salsas, cilantro, cebollas, and chiles. I recommend ordering the Libra de Barbacoa (personally not picky with my choice of meat...but a little fat on it just adds more flavor to the bite in my opinion). Just talking about it makes my mouth water lol. Definitely go if you wanna have a small date night or go out with the family. I tried their Pulque for the first time there and ill say it was very good. Very glad to know that this restaurant is local to the region and look forward to my...

I always visit from Michigan and make sure to stop here every time. This is the most fresh, delicious, authentic family owned Mexican food I have ever had. The food is made with so much love and is amazing quality for the price. I always get lamb, which they serve family style with broth to dip your tacos in some guacamole on the side. 10/10 every time. The owner is so kind and welcoming to top everything off. I miss this place when I leave and it stays in the topic of my conversations for months after. Please try this place as it will definitely become your favorite.

We got the carne asada fries, consomme, birria tacos, and barbacoa dorado tacos, along with the tepazcal cocktail. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The tepazcal cocktail was a smash hit - first of all, it was $9, and where can you find a cocktail anywhere these days for under $10? It was the perfect balance of smoky, sour, and sweet and so refreshing. Guacamole is that hard-to-find, freshly made, chunky, homemade style. The corn tortillas were fresh and delicious enough to be eaten on their simply dipped in the consomme. And that birria! *Chef's Kiss* Fantastic.

Outstanding food, its my first time trying their Trio-Quesadilla and their Huitlacoche Quesadilla (corn mushroom with Mexican truffle, and mozzarella cheese) is truly amazing. But of course their famous lamb BBQ is also excellent. And don't forget their little EggNog Gelatin (which is more like a cold flan than gelatin); very yummy also and a great finish to an excellent dinner. I will be back very soon.
