Run of the mill park. Tons of trees that need trimming, fences are falling apart. The new watering system is constantly muddy due to poor planning. The areas that aren't dangerous or wet are great to wonder around in for the dogs. There is little to no maintenance to this park other than grass cutting. That they forget to do. People who come to the park are pretty awesome. Everyone generally maintains their dogs and control breakout fights. The park itself needs a ton of work.

What's not to like about hanging out with your dog and many of his current best friend's. Yes, he does give the odd growl over the ball but in general they all seem to figure it out over time. We did have a puppy a couple years ago that got over excited but he slowly mellowed after several visits. Be brave take the Dog it's good for both of you. Oh the people are great too

Lots of space, there’s even a fenced small dog area, so dogs aren’t on top of each other. Lots of trees that provide shade and squirrels! A third of the park has a sloping hill section to run up and down for dogs who need a bit more challenge. There is a tap and water is available spring /summer and early fall ( it’s turned off once we hit weather in the 30’s!) poop bags, and trash cans provided. There’s a small gazebo, several benches and a few regulars bring (and leave) plastic chairs that folks use. Park on the street (my recommendation) especially if you, or your dog ,have mobility issues. There is also parking in the park, turn in, go down the hill and bear right—- but it’s poorly paved, uneven and a mess during snowy or wet weather. Parts of the park can be a mud pit during wet weather or when snow is melting and entrances can be icy in the winter. Park is closed THURSDAYS 6-10am for mowing in the spring, summer and early fall. Standard rules for health and safety of dogs and humans are posted and regulars expect visitors to pick up after their dog and monitor their dog’s behavior—-folks with aggressive dogs are asked to leave. There are times the park is empty if your dog wants to play fetch. Not all dogs can share or coexist peacefully when there are balls/toys involved so be prepared to put away toys when other dogs are present to avoid fights, injury. If you bring children carefully monitor their interactions with other dogs. Everyone watch out for stampeding dogs! It is a Dog Park and dogs are racing around, chasing each other having a blast and I have seen adults get run into and knocked...

This dog park is easy to find, access, and exit. It is well maintained and just over an acre in size. It does have a small dog area also. There's lots of grass in the cooler seasons and plenty of shade trees in the hot season. There's fresh water for drinking and mutt mitts for clean up on sight. Talking with the local regulars there's rarely more than a dozen dogs there. There was six when we visited in the late morning. If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a...
