SonBridge Center for Better Living — Local services in College Place

SonBridge is quite a place. They do lots for the lower income and indigent people in the Walla Walla valley. They provide some dental care and emergency medical prescription services. They have programs for foster care people and classes for parents in the foster care program. They have a great thrift store in two areas. They have some very nice, gently used goods and another area for larger bulky items. I donate a lot to them and buy things when I can't find it elsewhere. They have a great staff of volunteers who sort through all the donated items and prep it for display. They have an area of collectibles and antiques that has some very nice pieces. The money raised goes to support their programs....

A true service center for those in need. Its name signifies a transformative bridge to the Son of God. It is said that "they will know we are Christians by our love." I have seen that here. The Thrift Store has several nice second hand items for a very reasonable price. The place also hosts meetings that help people and is a great referral center.
