Treated my 73 y/o grandmother very poorly. Just had a back surgery, she had to use the rest room so she pulled her cord. Over an hour later the lady who worked there came in and said "what?" She said in her grandma voice "I need to use the restroom" the lady then replied with a "then go..." my gma responded with "I need help I can only walk a couple feet." This is a huge problem. My friend is staying there for recovery. The place is dirty. Her food trays from the morning did not get removed to the evening. She is on a strict diet and they constantly gave her the wrong food. She picked up c.dif. and is now being taken to the ER because of the horrendous care that are giving. She has asked for water and one time it took 5 hours to get and the next time 2 hours. My grandmother has been at this facility for almost 4 years and she is always well cared for. Her room is clean, the facility doesn't have that typical "old folks home" smell, it's always clean, not once have I ever heard a patient's room alarm go off, much less be ignored and the staff are always super attentive with grandma's care! Every patient that I've seen when I've visited is clean and smiling or entertained. I've never heard cries or screams or yelling from upset clients during any of my visits. This facility seems to be the rare find of a lifetime!! Caring, empathetic and responsive care...
