Honoring the "Rock 'n' Roll Highway 67", Cavanaugh Park is a great place to learn about the history of rock music in the area. So many of the greats played or traveled in the area influencing music for generations.
This park, in the shape of an Epiphone Casino guitar, has stations to stop and read interpretive displays, listen to interviews of musicians, and at a few stops, music, too.
It was fun to do a little dancing along the way.
I was glad I got off the highway to come here and highly recommend it to anyone interested in the roots of rockabilly and other styles of rock.

There's a guitar built into the ground with signs that feature artists like Elvis, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, etc. Each sign also plays a recording of music or an interview, but two of the signs didn't work while we were there.
