The culinary creations were of exceptional quality, showcasing a remarkable blend of flavors and textures. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared. The presentation was visually appealing, enhancing the overall dining experience for the group I was with. The aromas that filled the air were enticing, creating anticipation for the delightful meal. The experience was undoubtedly memorable. It would be wonderful to share some thoughts about the culinary creations. The individual responsible for the meal preparation demonstrated exceptional dedication. Every dish was a testament to their enthusiasm and commitment to quality. Having been a schooled chef for over 10 years, it was evident that the food was made with genuine care and I was very impressed. The overall experience was truly unforgettable.

If you haven't been here to eat, definitely come in and try it out. It's worth the trip and deserves MAPL(Mom and pop love). This place is located in such a small place and definitely out shines the area it's located in.

P.S. To the young man that cooked my food, you have a bright future ahead of you in culinary arts. Keep...

My children and I stopped here with my husband's grandma for a late lunch on our way back to Texas, and it was certainly an unexpected blessing. We stumbled upon The Post while finding places nearby to eat. Immediately in the doorway, I knew this was not just a chance meeting; the sign by the Christmas tree let me know I was welcome. Also, they had areas for the kids to play and relax, so I knew my kids were welcome too. We were welcomed by the owner and he was accommodating and cheerful. We ordered the daily soup and sandwich, a Greek salad, spaghetti, and a PB&J. There was definitely something for everyone in our party, and it was all delicious and reasonably priced. The kids also got an opportunity to play while we waited for food, so it broke our long trip up nicely. Lastly, my daughter and I loved the prayer room! The atmosphere was different; the charm of the old post building along with great food, great staff, excellent service, and a Christ centered mission means I will definitely be visiting again on my next journey...

Oh Yelp! On a recent drive returning from Houston, heading to Northern Illinois, we stopped here for what we hoped would be a tasty lunch and strong coffee. (Based on the reviews) A bit confusing on arrival but we figured out it was counter service. Young woman behind the register kindly handed us menus and advised we could scan the QR code if we couldn't read the paper menu (which was printed in what felt like a size 6 font size...the irony considering it's "the post"). After opening their menu online, we settled on a Postmaster General and a couple coffees. Paid and receipt time stamped 12:15pm. She showed us where the chips were and said she'd bring the coffees out to us, and food would follow shortly. At 1:03pm, we realized that no amount of praying in their prayer room was going to bring us those sandwiches so we got up and left. That's right, did not collect a refund, just walked out. I'm out some $, but found my patience back after grabbing a slice of 'za at the Casey's. Hard pass for...

Stopped here for lunch as we were driving through the area. So glad we did!! Loved the location (historic post office / bank) and how they kept historic components. The vault is now a prayer room and the food is AMAZING! We got our food to go - my son said the one he got was his “dream sandwich”. My sandwich was on gluten free bread that really exceeded my expectations (normally I expect to not like the GF bread & eat the inside only). Wish we lived closer so we could visit again!

Good food, coffee, and service. The main foods here are sandwiches and wraps. Good selection of items to choose from, just the right amount imo. Nice historical building as well. Built in 1935 as a post office. Then the Times Dispatch newspaper, and now this Bistro. I like how they left the old original feel of the building intact. Some nice cozy relaxing areas to sit by electric fire places as well. Nice place.
