I stumbled upon this park when searching for a good spot to view the 2024 solar eclipse. It couldn't have worked out better. Plenty of parking, extra restroom facilities for the crowd and an ice cream vendor. Also by chance, I met an astronomy professor who changed plans to shoot from Austin last-minute due to the weather. He had two great setups for people to check out.

A very nice park that also sports a large amount of soccer fields. Though a fair amount of the local kids have taken to using it as their smoke and juul hub and the equipment has a bit of graffiti. The biggest problem is vandalism in the bathrooms as the local boys think it's funny to poop in the urinal, flood the toilets and sinks, and throw wet...
