Let’s start with the service. My three girl went there to eat luck as they do often. They always tip and are respectful! The server was more than rude! My daughter orders wings several times a week and love them. When she ordered them today she ate one bite of one wing and another one of my girls ate one for a total of 1 1/2 wings. They asked the server about them and said they weren’t right she then argued and told them it’s the hot sauce. Clearly this wasn’t the cause seeing how they order them the same way every time. They sent the wings back and the server told them she would still charge them for the wings and would not remake them without also charging for the new ones. My girls called me extremely upset not knowing what to do. I went up there to be approached by the same rude server that threw her arms around and told me just because my girls don’t like them they still have to pay for them but they had the wings in the kitchen. When I got to talk to another lady she grabbed the bottle of hot sauce and said this is why they don’t like them. I again informed her that they order them the same way every time. And I had tried the half of one left at the table and they clearly had something wrong with them. Then after charging me for the wings I had to ask for the wings back to take home since I did pay for them. I was again rudely confronted and the wings that everyone touched were placed in a Togo box and tossed at me. Not to mention I paid for 8 wings got 5 in the box and my kids ate 1 in a half so I was still shorted 1 wing. The lady in the kitchen told me what do you want us to do we can’t loss money. Very bad experience tonight with la grande. Very poor customer service. I had my lunch delivered at a facility I was working at tonight and apparently they expected me to stop taking care of one of my residents so I can run up and pay for my food. I understand that they want to get in and out but my patience come even before me eating. This driver came into the facility was rude and was loud at night at a time when our elderly sick residents we're trying to rest. When I called and reported him to the manager the manager was just as bad. I asked him what was I supposed to do stop taking care of my patient? He replied yes. He proceeded to try to put me down and say why didn't you put your meal on a credit card don't you have a credit card? He also said well I suggest you pack your lunch next time. Really what kind of customer service was that? The so-called manager continue to argue with me and take jabs at me trying to belittle me. He even suggested that I don't know how his kind of business runs. Correction I ran a chain restaurant while still living in New york. I was the general manager of the restaurant. I did all the ordering and hiring and terminating and everything else that comes with being a manager so I understand his job quite well. Bottom line is I will never ever order from la grande again. Although the food was good the customer service was horrible. I will not give an establishment my support and my money when they really don't care about their own customers and try to make things right. How would they like it if I was here taking care of one of their loved ones and I stopped what I was doing to run up front to pay for food. They only waited for about 5 minutes for me. Not your typical mainstream delivery. WAAY better. Real food made fresh. Ordered delivery, 2 large subs, 6 breadsticks, a nice tray of boneless bbq wings, fried cheese curds and a tray of beer fries! All for under 30 bucks delivered! My wife and I are stuffed and we still have a good half of it left for next meal. Their chopotle ranch is awesome, the boneless wings werent 90% breading and sauce...they were rich juicy white meat with an excellent sauce. The subs were so good, again not your typical 90% bread with some stuff inside that looks like it came from a package. Great meat and veggies that actually tasted fresh on a nice wide roll. The cheese curds were like if you got homemade fresh cheese sticks but ones that were home fried with it being 95% really rich cheese. The fries were so good and not greasy. Everything arrived in 20 minutes! And we were NOT left with 5 lbs of trash we have to now deal with haha. Overall have to say 5 out of 5 all around. Its so nice not having to pay 10 bucks in fees and delivery and getting store bought frozen junk. This was great food and after hearing the original total I ended up calling back to add on the wings and fries since they took the place of delivery fees! LOVE IT!
