Anytime Fitness — Local services in Wapakoneta

I canceled my gym membership at another gym and chose to pay not much, but a little more to go to this location because it’s within walking distance of my house. The trainers were very friendly at first. I do not feel the need for a personal trainer nor is it in my budget after I declined so did their customer service. They only focus on members who use the personal training services ( which is fine this is my me time!) and invade personal space of others using the gym space to make sure we all know they are training. Not to mention the BRO TIME of all the trainers when they don’t have clients. If we aren’t going to social distance at least open up the treadmills so we can all enjoy ourselves. Another plus of this location was I could tan I. The same place as I work out. Instead they have been without management. I met with the owner, Gage, on 8/27 and appreciated his time. However, there were repeated miscommunications afterward. I was told he’d be in earlier than the posted 10–7 staffed hours, but staff weren’t present when I arrived. Then I received an appointment confirmation (and even a call+voicemail) for a meeting I never scheduled.

Screenshots are attached for clarity. I did understand the official hours, but the ongoing confusion made me uncomfortable.

I wish this gym the best and hope others have smoother experiences.

Thanks for clarifying the staffed hours—I did understand they were 10–7. The part that was most confusing for me was receiving appointment a confirmation and even a call for a meeting I hadn’t scheduled (see attached screenshots). Very dirty facility that is embezzling your money that you pay for extra to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation and maintenance of the facility. Windows have not been cleaned for at least 6 months there is literally tree seeds from the spring stuck in cobwebs on the windows. And it's almost October. Restrooms have toilet paper strewn everywhere. Manager is in at this time and it's dirty like that. Anyone who uses a facility currently should contact county prosecutor's office for embezzlement of funds because there's quite possibly $10,000 a month that is not being used for the correct purposes.
