Wapakoneta Waterpark — Attraction in Wapakoneta

BE AWARE. THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH. It would be fine if they had an ATM, but they don't. They don't have it listed anywhere online that they only accept cash. I know that's a problem for a lot of people.

Also, the had the adult pool open only for people with membership passes/family passes. This meant that everyone else was forced into the kiddie pool. Including rowdy teenagers and rude adults. My toddler was consistently knocked over in the toddler area...where he shouldn't have had to play amongst 16yo kids.

I don't understand why nobody was allowed in the big pool unless they had a membership wristband. It made the kiddie pool crowded and dangerous. Maybe it was only for an hour or so? But we were there for a solid hour and the adult pool wasn't available to use the entire time we were there.

We eventually just left because there was nowhere to swim. I wouldn't recommend this pool unless you want to shell out the $140 for a membership.

Oh and I read that kids aren't allowed to use the waterside unless they pass a swim test beforehand?? Sure that's good in theory but where would we even take our older child to do this test? I haven't been able to find any info anywhere.

So, toddler can't swim in the kiddie pool. Us adults can't swim in the adult pool, and older child can't use the waterslide.

There's no point...

They take care of this facility very well. Clean environment & lifeguards are very attentive. The morals and values they hold here, make this place a very safe environment for kids and families. Thank you WaterPark owners and staff for all the hard work you put into this, it’s all worth it! You are appreciated! Typically we love coming to this pool. However we had horrible experience today. Pool is currently closed as they put in chemicals and we were told may not open today but they are checking hourly. No price discounts for their inconvenience and they did NOT post this information on their website. My daughter and I both checked the website prior to heading to their pool and found no indication of what was happening. Lady was not caring at all, just kept stating her...
