The Onset Clay Room — Attraction in Wareham

If you’re looking for a super fun time you need to go to The Onset Clay Room…. It’s BYOB, Husband and wife military family owners (USCG). They’re v flexible even if your desired time falls outside their normal business hours. All you need to do is call or send them a message on Facebook and they’ll accommodate when possible based on their current reservations. They do all kinds of fun things like ladies night, kids night out, birthday parties, and coming up is 4/20 night where you can paint your own bong🪴. They accommodate drop ins - no reservation required. They have tons of pottery to chose from. They’re also open to suggestion and will get a specific piece in for you if they don’t already have it in stock. Once you’re finished with your piece, they’ll fire it in the kiln, glaze it, and call you when it’s ready (in about a week)! Go check them out!...

I absolutely love this little gem! If you're looking for a fun, family friendly activity or something to do on a rainy day, put this place on your list. They have a great selection of pottery pieces to choose from, a nice palette of paint colors, and lots of stencils and different brushes to help you create your own "masterpiece". The place is super kid friendly, and is owned and operated by a really nice family. They started the place to fund a nonprofit that benefits foster kids and provides those kids with birthday wishes. If that's not enough, you can make it a grown up event, and BYOB! It's a fun place and something cool and different to do....

If you want somewhere to go to have fun with your friends and family this the place for you. The staff is kind and accommodating and they has have fun activities planned for people of all ages. My son goes to the kids nights out every month and won’t stop talking about all the fun and things they did (it’s not just painting) until the next one. I went to an adult only by myself and didn’t know anyone else there but they made me feel so comfortable and welcome that I had such a great time and can’t wait to go back again myself.
