I have known Irina for years and referred many customers to her confidently. This year it was time for me to have my own wedding dress altered. I purchased my dress in 2019 for my wedding in December 2021. During this time, I wound up losing a significant amount of weight and was very nervous that the dress would never be able to look right. My dress was full beaded lace with long sleeves and lace illusion back, not easy to alter anyway but this was a significant amount of work that needed to be done. It took her one fitting. She pulled in the sleeves, took in the dress 6 inches in the top, 3 inches in the hip, removed the train for me, and hemmed it perfectly. When I went back for my second fitting, this dress fit like a glove and I almost cried I was so happy - I didn't need anything else done. She is a master. She made me love my dress even more, I didn't want to take it off and I got so many compliments, I just couldn't be happier. I just picked up my wedding dress today and it is PERFECT!! I love how beautiful it looks specifically tailored to my body and it couldn't have looked so put together if it wasn't for Irina. **UPDATE POST WEDDING: 10/10 would recommend for any bride that wants to have the PERFECT fitted dress. My dress was altered perfectly to me and looked even more beautiful than when I initially chose my dress. At first, I had fallen in love with the off the shoulder look of my dress. But then, I was able to rock multiple looks and popped off the straps for a complete strapless look. I didn't have to pull up my dress AT ALL throughout the ENTIRE night (and I danced all night)! Excellent service, lovely person! And very reasonable prices. She was able to do in half the time what other shops said would take weeks. I needed a bridesmaid dress taken up some from the bottom and she even offered to make a few other alterations that would flatter the dress even more. She was very professional so I trusted her opinion and I'm so glad I did. It fits me much better than before. I couldn't find daycare for my 8 month old that day so Irina sat with her while I tried on my dress and was happy to do it! I spent an hour in her shop afterwards just talking to her about family and her journey here to the US. She is so passionate about her work. I would prefer to give support to small businesses like hers over a larger one anytime. You get much better personalized service and she didn't disappoint.
