My best friend, Robert, and I used to come here regularly, until he died and I moved away. It's been 4 months since my last glass of montepulciano, olives and bread and delicious meal. He and I came here very often. We dined out all the time, from Doylestown to all over the Philly and surrounding areas. This place was always my favorite. The bartenders were always so friendly. The food here is excellent. The menu is interesting and everything on it, prepared perfectly. I can't say enough good things about it. From the second you walk in the door, it's a top notch experience. The place is huge but it still has classy yet cozy atmosphere. Always gorgeous fresh flowers in the foyer. Even the bathrooms are a beautiful experience. The owner is a great chef and knows a lot about wine as well. Robert and I took a wine class there once. It was fun. I miss him and I miss our lovely regular spot. ALL restraunts should use this place to measure themselves against. It's a perfect level of good food, atmosphere, friendly, attentive and efficient wait staff and affordable prices. If the owner reads these things, please come open a place on Topsail Island, North Carolina... the food and atmosphere down here sucks. Come show them how it's done. Please send care package. lol Tell everyone I miss them and I wish you all well

This restaurant was a fabulously unexpected treat. I was passing through Warrington and we decided to stop in last minute. This restaurant is upscale, so you will you pay a pretty penny for what you order, BUT the food and wine was worth it. The atmosphere isn’t “wow-ing;” however, the food is great. I took a risk and ordered the kangaroo, and it was tender, full of flavor and made the experience. I had a great wine that paired nicely. Last but not least, don’t forget dessert. The snickers pie, creme brûlée, and cheesecake were nice treats. The party I was with all got different desserts.

We came in for a wedding anniversary and our food was awful. My wife ordered the gnocchi which came out as a grey color with a tasteless sauce. Our server seemed offended when we told him we didn’t enjoy our food and didn’t say another word to us. The photo speaks for itself, save your money

Perfect date night, only wish we could have stayed longer! We had ordered takeout from Villa Barolo a few times in the past few years (have 3 small-ish kids so usually don't go to restaurants) and loved it, so we finally went to eat at the restaurant and it is hands-down one of our favorite places! Chef Lo greeted us with the hostess when we first arrived; he is so warm and friendly, we felt like celebrities with that greeting! The restaurant itself is beautiful and huge; the main bar area is separate from the elegant dining room, and I can see that being a fun place to hang out at night! We didn't have much time and sat in the dining room. The menu is amazing and I had a few awesome options in mind but then had to forget all that because it turns out it was restaurant week! This was a difficult choice for my husband and me to make - so many amazing apps, entrees, and desserts, and at an incredibly reasonable price! And delicious - we each had clean plates when we were done. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions. Also very attentive. Chef Lo even stopped by at one point to see how we were doing. Such a charming establishment all in all! We can't...

I was with 13 others for dinner tonight. I ordered the risotto dish. 11 received their entree, the 12th received his around 5 minutes after the others and my entree never arrived. Our waiter never gave me an explanation of any issue just kept telling me it would be arriving. Everyone at the table was finished and I still had no meal. Our waiter never apologized, explained any problems, or even offered me a salad while i was waiting and all 13 were eating but me. After waiting 10 more minutes and everyone else was finished and still no meal I canceled my dinner. No apology came from the waiter, no offer of anything else they could serve me at any time. 10 to 15 minutes later the chef came out, placed a dessert on the table and informed me the kitchen had problems getting 14 meals at the same time. Dessert is a nice gesture if you actually ate a meal first. Please keep this horrible experience if you arrive here with a large party, you will not be happy and leave without...
